Was instore doing a bit of festive shopping (Town was very packed and horrendous by the way!) and i spotted The Last King of Scotland DVD for the bargain price of £3 instore at HMV.
This is an excellent prce for a brilliant oscar winning movie, sure to make a great stocking filler.

This appear to be instore only as its £4.99 on the HMV website.

I'm not usually squeimish, but this film has some truly awful sights in it. Couldn't believe it was only a 15 when I saw it in the cinema.

The guy being hung up with a hook in his chest in the airport was it? eugh :-(

Fantastic film

Also, forgot to mention, as the displayed prices instore do not reflect the current rate of VAT you will get this a few pence cheaper when it gets scanned at the till!
There were signs up in store mentioning this.

There's one thing that I thought was very misleading about this film. At the start they say that it's based on real people and events; that tends to lend it a fair bit of extra credibility. However, what they don't mention is that the pivotal role of the Doctor is almost total fiction; a bit naughty that.

Good film apart from that though.

Very tempting price (unlike Woolies, where the closing down prices are still higher than shops next door)

Will get this next time I'm in town

Heat added.

I paid £4.90 in Asda for this dvd today and thought that was a good price.

Wish I'd seen this post earlier.:santa:

£4.99 on their website by the way.
