Incredible price, but very last- minute!

From Travelzoo:

Charter Flight Centre has dramatically cut the price on flights to Goa over the next few weeks, with seats now from £229, return. The cheapest fares we found on the same dates with other carries are an additional £289.

Fly with Monarch from London Gatwick to Goa on 25, 27 November; 2, 9 December for 14 nights. The price includes a 20kg luggage allowance, and the fares are for premium seats on on 25 & 27 November -- these are usually worth an additional £150 on the price of economy.

Excellent deal but unless you already have your Visa arranged, forget it as it takes several weeks minimum to apply for a visa for India. Wish I was going!

i wouldn't bank on it. I applied for an indian tourist visa last month, supposed to take 2-3 days but it's been a month and they still have my passport!!!! and I'm of indian origin, been to india before so don't know why there's a hold up!

The new visa process is not too bad... but its peak time for people getting visa's I normally get mine in September and it took about a week - you can pay for a fast track.

they've removed the fast track facility. You can now only fast track if your applying for a business visa!

It was in North Goa where all this happened - sadly the events will reduce the tourist numbers slightly but not too much. People get raped and murdered all round the world :(
