Possibly if you have a good few years on your side...don't think I have enough years left or wine for that matter to get through all of the series...lol...

the most unfunniest sitcom ever

ah! Remember the classic episodes?
Like the one where Compo went down a hill in an old bathtub.
Or the one where Compo went down a hill in an old trolley.
Or the one where Compo went down a hill in an old Mini...

Hot price, but so unfunny. If classic old comedies are your thing then you'd be better off watching Ever Decreasing Circles or The Good Life.

wow , i cant believe they are trying to sell that

There must be very few people in the world that could manage to watch all that , even less who would be prepared to pay £84 for the privilege, unless of cours ethey have a thing for Nora Batty .

Surely you could find it for free somewhere if you wanted the novelty of watching an episode

Bargain, works out at just £84.15 per laugh!

Or Dad's Army, Keeping Up Appearances, Are You Being Served, It Ain't Half Hot Mum and although I probably shouldn't mention it....In Sickness and in Health ;)

Mind you I guess on the other hand everyone is different and humour is subjective...what one person finds funny another doesn't...

My Dad loves this but doubt he would even manage to sit through every single episode back to back oO

I know people who say they like it but they dont sit there laughing at it. Where as they also say they like Sorry or The Good Life or Steptoe and Son and they do LOL at that.

If anyone wants to watch a series that's actually VERY funny, but with a similar premise (old guys getting up to no good and not acting their age), I can heartily recommend this - it's utterly brilliant;

The closest you'd get to finding out how bad immortality would be is to watch these back to back for the next two months

Have you tried 2 Doors Down...you may like it if you like Still Game...humour wise not age related ;)

That's the Christmas present for the inlaws sorted!*

(*joke about as funny as this programme is for much of the 32 series)

Nice gentle comedy from a bygone era with no bad language or filth
Many self proclaimed smugs could do well to listen & learn- modern comedy is so predictably pathetic
Well done OP

how true, modern comedy is so predictably pathetic, im glad you like comedy from a bygone age, the 70s didn't have any bad language or filth in it, just racism, sexism, homophobia, etc etc,

Mind you, In Sickness and In Health and Curry & Chips mocked the intolerant and used racists as the foundation of their jokes. Terrible stereotypes on all sides, true but someone has to be the first to open the door

Weird that a negative comment about one sitcom from a bygone era means that I must be a smug who loves predictably pathetic modern comedy.

I'm as happy watching comedies from decades ago as I am watching something like Catastrophe. I certainly don't write off Last of the Summer Wine completely (hence why I said "much of") but I don't understand why anyone would want to watch 32 series of it when the jokes are really over after watching a few series. I doubt I'd want to watch series 32 of Fawlty Towers had it been made.

who could forget Fawlty Towers, Only When I Laugh , Father Ted ...

Didn't end up buying Last of the Summer Wine but instead headed for the 2 for £ 10 boxsets which , with the discount code, has some bargains in .... Rockford Files , Buck Rogers in the 25th Century ......

You are most very welcome just glad I've been of some help and hope you enjoy it if you decide to watch...I find it quite funny but hardly anyone seems to have heard of it...probably because it's hidden away on BBC2 ;)

I find most of the best comedy is on BBC2 - unfortunately most people out there are more on the 'Mrs Brown's Boys' wavelength :(

This is every good reason to leave the house and go to the pub on a Sunday night. Been using the same script for 32 seasons.
