This won't last long
wow what a deal

Probably reduced due to population explosion there if Trump gets his way...also large wall spoils view.

jumps up by £500 at the moment if you go one week later...

Just be aware that May is the rainy season which is very rainy.

During March to May the rains can be continuous and, when not raining, it is often clouded. Some lodges and camps close down during part of the wet season.

If you don't mind getting wet though it's a bargain.

Also check your own school half term, we booked with family to find my half term is the week after there's! Waiting to see if I'm to be fined now!
was looking for something like this
thanks
For anyone looking for something cheap but not to Turkey... flights from Doncaster to Girona for 10 nights (Thu afternoon until Sun 3/11) are still priced at around £75 per person return. Again, not especially hot, but likely to be a helluva lot better than the weather in Doncaster! Cheap hotels easy to find on alpharooms, booking.com, asdatravel etc.

As per my OP, my experience of this time of year re: weather is very good! We went one to Turkey one year in October half-term the same time as our neighbours went to Majorca. They froze but we were toasty. Also, the pools may be cool (less sunlight in the shorter days to warm them up), but the sea will most definitely be warm enough! There IS a chance of dodgy weather, but in this part of Turkey it doesn't tend to last for more than two days.

This deal is also available from Gatwick.BTW

Excellent! Hope you get the weather. It might have been the northern part of Turkey that I was hearing about, but we had friends that went there and froze their backsides off. Yeah - we were in Spain last year (on a par with Majorca) and it was pretty cold! The year before was warmer, but I suppose you just take your chances at that time of the year. Fingers crossed for Cyprus anyway, and for Turkey for you guys. I'd love to hear how it was in the pools etc, so I know for next year, if you happen to get the chance to update on here when you get back? :)

I can vouch that this is a good little hotel although the area is a little quiet/remote (some people see this as a good thing!). Great area for kids in the pool and pretty good food if you decide to move up to all inclusive when you get there.
Freezing cold and wet until end of April, we went in April 2 years ago absolute cwaste of money, most places closed

Went in July never again even if you paid me!! Ignorant arrogant people country is a **** hole and should be nuked.
Oh, and full of Germans!
Tunisia. Country was like a building site, people and food horrible and nothing to do at night. Only good thing was the sun.

I've been there and I can honestly say it's a s#!t hole!

This hotel or Tunisia? In fairness to OP good reviews on Tripadvisor

Edited By: collectorcol on Jan 25, 2012 17:51: Update
me and my boyfriend went here in december its a really nice hotel and lovely rooms
theres loads of drink options and the food is good were vegetarian and managed to still have a few options a night.
the only bad things were being younger we found it fairly boring as most people there are say 30+ and the pools and sea were too cold to go in
went to the towns near the hotel few times only hour walk along the beach the people there were a bit pushy but youve just got to be adiment and say no

but for the price its great

Great hotel and plenty of choice for the meals.

Some of the rooms are huge, tons for the kids to do from morning till night.

KFC and Maccy D's and another couple of restaurants across the road and they were building a TGI Fridays when we were there last

Hi Shabbaman, can you give me any more details on this particular hotel?? im looking for a chilled out holiday with a mate, just want some sun, im not really interested in the culture side of things, just swimming and sunning it up.....should i go for it?

Keep in mind they had a revolution and overthrew the president last year. Lots of political turbulence. Word is that it's fairly low risk for tourists, but there's still talk of armed rebellions and so forth even in this week's news and they're in the middle of a fuel crisis with people lining up at the pumps due to general disagreements and nobody getting along, so personally I'd rather book somewhere where there's less risk of waking up to "holiday cancelled due to more pesky locals causing trouble" :)
A friend of mine has just come back from the pyramids, he loved it! I'm looking for flights to Cairo and thought it would be cheap with the ongoing problems but still can't find flights much cheaper than £300 return.
You can do this cheaper? In may I can get a 5 star hotel all inclusive for 2 weeks Inc flights for 3 adults and 1 child for about 2K . I actually did it last year for £1700.00.
stickyricky
My two daughters were there in July and they paid 34 quid for a return trip from Sharm to pyramids on the coach which was 6 hours each way, entry to the Egyptian Museum and a trip on the nile which included lunch plus entry in to one on the smaller pyramids and trip to perfume factory. They could have gone into the great pyramid for 10 GBP. You can fly for over a 100 GBP ,45 min approx on plane. Cheap enough for a good day out.

My wife flew to Egypt on a Concorde, saw the pyramids, rode a camel, went to the museum, and flew back again the same day. I had to drive to Heathrow twice. Those were the days.
Dont forget to pack your Imodium
