My bad I'll edit - still good price though

Bryan839: maybe 'latest' was written to highlight that it isnt the old model being sold?

It originally said "New" and Bryan correctly pointed out that it has been out since September and hence I changed it to "Latest"

The name of the product is 'New' to show the difference between the 1st gen and this the 2nd gen ipod touch.

Is it the annual pedant conference in here today?

#9
Same price at dixons.co.uk (in stock and quidco / egg card discounts etc)

Will users stop voting hot for deals that are not actually that hot!! I find that this is especially true for apple products, where the thumbs up is given just because its has a fruit logo.
#11
Why is this hot???
#12
i would like that if it was the iphone.. touch is ok but i wouldnt pay this much for one.

Thanks for post thou OP

But it does a load more for the extra £50....:whistling:

Yes, but the nano doesn't have the same functionality as the Touch.. the touch can go on the internet and more. I've got one and I love it :)
#20
Amazon seem to have the lowest price for this iTouch although I managed to use the Dixons code that was on here yesterday and bagged one for £145, not bad!

It's only £10 more from the Apple store.....why is this deal hot?
#24
Cold from me , can`t see where the hot deal is
#25
What is the obsession of people comparing two different items here!

"The classic is cheaper and has a bigger capacity!"

"The nano is smaller and cheaper to boot!"

"Blah blah blah"

Would you compare an SLR to a PnS?

Would you compare a PSP to a 360?

Would you compare a bloody Aston Martin to a Mini?

God this annoys me to no end. You cannot make a side by side comparison with two products that clearly have different functions!

There. End of rambling.
#26
Cold - there wasn't even a price in the RSS feed...no use at all.

I don't think the addition of one new widget to get existing Apple fanboys to upgrade to the latest gadget can be compared to the difference between an mini and an Aston. If you want to spend extra wona for wifi in your pocket then do it but I don't think this is a deal. I already have internet and wifi on my phone and to be honest rarely use it. I can't see the point in having it on my mp3 player too.
#28
You could have picked one of these up before Christmas for less than the above price if you did you research right I got one for £138 I think it work out at. So it's by know means a hot deal:thinking:

Having wifi enables the user to download music, games and apps, directly to the iPod without the need for cables and a computer. You can stream content from the BBC iPlayer if you want to. It's very convenient, even more so if you're always on the move and like to travel light.

I also picked one up for £139 via littlewoods direct useing £30 off code for new customers
#32
ice cold and it comes u[p as hot? what? :?

The irony of posting about people posting when they haven't got something decent to say
