This lists at £250 and the cheapest I could find this elsewhere is £204 at Comet. This is the latest self-cleaning steam generator iron from Philips who get the top ratings from Which? Magazine.

* Auto Calc-Clean function automatically cleans your ironing system of scale
* Up to 5 bars of steam pressure for fast ironing
* SteamGlide soleplate for powerful steam and superb gliding
* Continuous steam up to 120 g/min for fast crease removal
* Ergonomically designed iron for comfortable ironing

If you're really feeling flush, I recommend the Brabantia Aqua Bowl Steam Control Frame, but at £170.50 it is a LOT to pay for what is essentially an ironing board.

And just in case you're interested, here is a link to the Brabantia Aqua Bowl Steam Control Frame which is an ironing board that caches the condensation and trickles it into an easy to empty bowl instead of dripping all over the floor.
Ive got a Phillips steam generator and mine doesn't drip water on to the floor?? wonder why this one might?

I have a Tefal one which this one is replacing. It generates so much steam that the condensation drips onto the floor. Maybe this one won't, or maybe I'm just using too much steam.
I've just found the Brabantia Aqua Bowl Ironing Table for £123.61 incl p&p at I've never heard of them, but this seems pretty cheap. John Lewis have it for £160.

I have had three steam Generator Irons over the past 12 or 13 years - two Tefal, one Philips (which was junk, btw!) none of them ever dripped at all!
ive a phillips one here and its been fab,
not sure if it matters but mine has an on-off steam button but you would never leave it on as its so noisy

no condensation drips either
