  Terrible quality! My lamp's lava started breaking down after a couple of weeks and made it look cloudy. That was with careful use and not shaking the lamp up. Shop wouldn't give me a refund but just store credit. Saw lots of faulty ones reduced in price in store. Avoid like the plague! :(

  Are they trying to take credit for inventing the lava lamp? I thought Mathmos invented them about 50 years ago! My advice (if you can afford it and want a lava lamp to last) would be to get a Mathmos lamp, I've had mine for years, and it's still going strong. Their customer service is excellent too, my first lamp went cloudy after about a year and they exchanged the bottle completely free of charge (when they could quite easily have refused to do anything and been well within their rights).

  Cheers for the info. Looks like I'm gonna have to save a bit judging by the prices on their site but they do look cool I want one!
