Did this yesterday in Maidstone. Took a while to get upto temperature but well worth the price. Don't forget you will need a few more quid on top for your chlorine and test strips.

We've had one of these for the past 4 year's. Wasn't sure how much use we would get out of it initially on a yearly basis.

Overall, I've been in it at 3am on multiple occasions, Sun, Rain & Snow. Even Christmas Day.

Its a great hit at BBQ's, brings people out of their shell :p(_;)

How much do these cost to run? Do you keep it heated all the time or just heat it when needed?

It has water jets. You don't get that with an average Toys R Us inflatable tub.

I'm having a laugh,I know what they are,I had one about 8 or 9 years ago.

Am I the only one to notice that the OP has called it a Layz boy (which is a chair),when in fact this hot tub is called a layz spa

Anyone know if they made the pumps/heaters last longer than one season on these things ? As when we had one it failed about 3 times in one summer, then the following year we got another (in the hope they were redesigned) and the pump/heater failed again.

Got a Vegas, in it now. Love it. Do It! stop being negative and hesitant....

I think it's a blow up pool which has bubbles, save money and get one from Argos then fart in it lol it ain't no hot tub that's for sure

So if I go into a Homebase store they will honour this price then? As online you can get it for this.
#26
I cant find the Vegas spa for that price on the Tesco website. Does anyone have a link?

they have powerful jets, from a frequent spa goer these are excellent
#29
I can't see it online for less than £336 at homebase?

Bought one from Argos a couple of years ago and it's great. When we are using it I use cheap bleach instead of chlorine tablets, swap and wash my filters regularly and don't have any probs. To save on electricity overnight I take a few buckets out and replace with boiling water in the morning.

We bought our Spa from Homebase, and they matched the price but didn't offer the 10% extra off?? Should we go back and ask for the extra 10%? Would they entertain that? Wouldn't normally but £30 odd back is quite a bit of money.

I'd email customer services first and push them for a result. Easier to go in store with an email instructing them to do the refund. Better than wasting fuel in the car. Can argue in store as a last resort but try the cheapest option first

Don't have one myself, something I was interested to know as well - website says £7-£10 a week
I guess you have to keep it switched on all the time to filter the water, you'd also have to buy a chemical kit to keep it algae and insect free

Would this survive a cat using it as a scratching post? I know weird query but my cat has in the past ruined a few easy set up swimming pools ( inflated ring at top) thanks!
