delivery only, which bumps up the price - would have been great if you could reserve

Good price, though home delivery only, so postage on top.

Personally not that impressed with this stuff - in our family, two of them have cracked right across for seemingly no reason and had to be binned..........

Also, be aware of the sizes - these are not really that big. Sorry.

Would possibly say it is a warranty issue if they crack?
Don't these things have a long or even lifetime warranty? :|

The warranty is 5 years, on this stoneware - if not "abused".

One thing you MUST NOT do with them is leave them 'soaking' immersed in water.

Practically, this also means you can't leave them standing on a wet surface.
I think the material takes up water through the unglazed base, and then, if not painstakingly dried out upside-down, heating any trapped water causes cracking.
I had a couple crack before I realised what was going on ...
I'm happy enough with my remaining pieces, but I shan't be buying more LC stoneware.

PS - and I wouldn't choose the stoneware as bakeware either. It takes too long to heat up.
But as roasting or even gratin dishes, (or my casserole) fine - as long as you let the underneath of the bases dry completely!
