I thought Makro was only for traders, ie joe public can't shop there?

As in the Sky half price deal if one is imaginative you can use this...

I'm assuming it's similar to this:

You do need a makro card (or a friends), but still a good deal.

It looks like a great deal.
But if you dont run your own business, then how do you get a Makro card?

Cold votes already!

Don't vote cold on the basis that you don't have a makro card...

...If next seasons Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea or Liverpool kit was selling for a fiver, would you vote it cold just because you didn't support one of those teams, thus making the deal no good for you?

I just went to my nearest store and picked-up an application form. Perhaps they were desperate for new customers when i got my card.

According to their website they need the following documentation

Companies/Organisations
(1) V.A.T. Certificate of incorporation from Companies House
or copy of business bank account statement.
(2) Two recent purchase Invoices over the value of £50 each.
(3) Personal Photographic I.D of the cardholder.

Self-Employed
(1) Recent correspondence from HMRC (Inland Revenue)
or photographic Inland Revenue registration card
or a copy of a recent business tax assessment.
(2) Two recent purchase invoices over the value of £50 each.
(3) Personal Photographic I.D of the cardholder.

How did you get around this?

Very nicely asked my boss if i could use the companies details on the application form.

Just a few months later, makro contacted our company asking if we needed any extra cards. Soon enough all my workmates had a card each without having to go through the BS i had to.

Nice one, but no good to me as my companies international & disjointed, I have no idea who my boss is.
Handy in some ways, but not when it comes to getting a Makro card.

If you know someone who has own business and ask if you can have an additional card

Voted hot, even though I don't have a Macro card. I recently got a 6 piece set for £107.50 in the Debenhams sale (different items but similar total price). This would normally be over £200. The best cookware I've ever used - just make sure you get used to only ever using low-medium heat settings or it's bye bye dinner, hello bin!
