You can tell the difference straight away re the quality and they are very robust plus they look great. These were bought yesterday from the branch in Silverburn Glasgow and today I bought another 3 from the branch in Argyle Street, Glasgow. Plenty of stock and plenty of colours to chose from in these two stores and its national.

(Dont confuse these large mugs with the small expresso ones!)

350ml is way too small. That is only a sample and a mug for tea needs to hold at least a pint.

Thats what I say when its Friday and am looking for something to pour my vodka into but this is big enough for my tea!

Oh hell don't waste time pouring vodka into anything and instead just swig from the bottle.

Why is le creuset so pricey? (I.e., oven dishes and stuff?) and even these mugs considering they're quite plain looking; and at full price don't look to be worth it *genuine question*

6.99 ? You've gotta be a mug to pay that price,it's not cast iron

I suppose its the same question as why pay OTT money for designer clothing. I have a dinner set - Villeroy & Boch and the plates alone were £25 each and I bought a couple of pieces every month until I finally had the full set of plates, side plates, bowls etc !! I could have gone to Asda and got a set for £7.99.

Same with trainers - silly prices for them or you can get a pair for a fraction of the designer prices
