Another le creuset deal from me I'm afraid ;)
At £9 each these are pricey for mugs, but this is the best price for a set I've seen, and delivery is free (good ole Amazon).

With respect, you're on the wrong web site!

Hey there's nothing wrong with wanting designer stuff. I don't think you guys are appreciating how expensive crockery can be. Don't get me wrong, the mug I claimed from the cupboard when I moved into my student digs will perform the EXACT same function as these babies, but I know what I'd rather have at the end of the day.

Guffaw!

When was Le Creuset evert 'designer'?

About as designer as Laura Ashley ever was.
#13
Sorry man I'm gonna have to call you on that one. Le Creuset is pretty much the perfect example of 'designer' when it comes to cookware. I mean I know mugs aren't their forté, would normally have gone for denby (I still miss Wedgewood actually) but what can I say, love the orange.
#14
Have some heat, out of my price range unfortunately (although I am currently coveting Le Creuset 'Volcanic' cookware!).
I didn't even know they made mugs, and good on you for making the effort to post it on here as there may be someone else reading this who has been alerted to this deal - and can afford it!

I feel I must apologise to the OP for perhaps setting the tone of this thread.

Whilst to me this is a ludicrous price for a mug, especially as it is just mass produced and globally outsourced like the majority of cheap crockery. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, taste and choice.

If someone collects Le Creuset kitchen/tableware then this may be a great deal for them.

As far as I understand this is a 'hot deals' website, not a 'money saving' type affair (i.e. moneysavingexpert.com), so significant price reductions of any nature should be welcomed.

I always choke at the amount of money people posting this website seem to be willing to spend on televisions - money that in my opinion might be better spent getting outside and actually doing something. However, there is scant criticism of such flagrant spending and as such there should not be any negativity expressed towards this posting.

Yum! :p

P.S. I have neither voted hot, nor cold, as I have no interest in this deal, nor knowledge of its value.

Good price, well found OP. Good deal for those who prefer their kitchen cupboard not looking like a builders shed.

These are pretty popular too:

Agreed, sometimes people on here can be quite dismissive (sometimes downright rude) and as you say it is about the lowest price on a particular item, not the cheapest item in that genre.

I wouldn't want anyone to have a bad experience and stop posting, because anybody can find a great deal others can benefit from.

Come on guys, props to those who bother to post and maybe save us all some money.

Ya know I think this may well be my favourite deal I've ever posted; for the banter, for the record chill, and for the support from everyone who doesn't think £6.75 is too much to pay for a mug. Cheers guys ;)
#21
I bet plenty of people have bought really chav-like 'footy mugs' for £6.75 and given them to someone as a gift at some point. Suddenly, this deal seems much better in that respect.

Le Creuset is expensive stuff, but you do more or less get what you pay for. I have inherited some of the cast-iron enamel covered dishes from my gran (as they are too heavy for her) and they are by far the best dishes I've ever used for cooking. Roast spuds simply cannot be beaten now - super crispy - yum yum!

As for this deal, perhaps another colour would have helped. Narrow-mindedness causes peole to hop on a bandwagon all too quickly. But I agree with the op - Denby is my preference and I am always keeping an eye peeled for those deals to help my parents build up a decent collection.

More than £5 is too much for a mug.

Now can you find me the cheapest Le Creuset Volcanic casserole dish out there!? ;-)

Here we have a cup of tea in one of the mugs. I don't think any of us can argue with that

Is there more than one mug in the photo? ;-)
