I am looking for Le Creuset stuff at the moment, and while this is certainly a good price; the main thing you are paying for (Casserole Dish) is only the 20cm model, which is pretty small.

It was only about 18 months ago that I got this set, including a 24cm casserole dish for £80

I'm looking for a 30cm casserole dish now, but cheapest online is £130 ish. Prices seem to have risen quite a lot.

Happy New Year everyone!

Love Le Creuset and have a kitchen full of cast iron goodies. I did discover recently that Le Creuset no longer offer a Lifetime Warranty on all their stuff.

For example, the standard cast iron pots are lifetime but the ceramics are only 5 years. Have had some of my cast iron for more than 25 years and it's as good today as the day that I bought it, perhaps even better as it's now well proved.

For interest, here is what Le Creuset say about warranties.

Satisfaction Guaranteed
As we believe in giving you uncompromising quality, our product ranges come with the
following guarantees:
Cast Iron Lifetime guarantee
Stoneware 5-year guarantee*
Ceramics 5-year guarantee*
3-ply Stainless steel Lifetime guarantee (10 years for non-stick products)
TNS 10-year guarantee
Screwpull** 10-year guarantee (metal) and 5 year guarantee (everyday items)

Gave some heat, but I can't really afford them. I bought recently the one from Aldi. I have been using it a few times and it has been very good, will it last? Time will say but for the price a pleasure to cook in it.

This is a great price but it is the "My First LeCreuset set" just to get you hooked then you have to buy the bigger stuff for 4 times the price.

My ex once had stoneware dish that cracked whilst on oven and they had no intention of replacing it after numerious phone calls. Dont believe the life time warrentry rubbish. All they need to do is say they suspect you mistreated the item and hey presto "a get out clause".

I bought the 22cm cast iron casserole pot from argos in summer for £60 with free steamer (it was previously £40) along with a stoneware set of 32cm, 26cm, 19cm dishes and 2 ramekins for £18. Bargs. The prices on amazon do fluctuate a lot tho

22cm with steamer, £86 now:
