Just back from my local JL. They had white Le Creuset Casserole Pots for half price.

20cm round was £95, now £47.50
24cm round was £119, now £59.50
25cm oval was £105, now £52.50
29cm oval was £125, now £62.50

They also have a 28cm round, but this is not in the offer.

I got the 29cm oval dish, great deal. Same prices on the website, but out of stock.

EDIT: Several cold votes I notice, if you can find a better price for any of these items please give details.

People on here will vote cold as they will think eugh £50+ for a pot you can get pots in parrrrnddddddd lannnnnnnnnnd for a quid.

When they haven't a clue.

Good deal but instore only now. White long gone on website and only feeble discounts of 20% or so on other colours. Teal coloured casseroles up to a third off on Amazon. OK if you can stomach the colour.

Are you a mind reader as well as totally condescending then?

Orrrrr you can get a choice of teal, red or black gloss cast iron wear in the Frasers sale that I posted last week, much cheaper than the Le Creuset and just as good quality. In fact the stainless steel knobs on the Frasers ones stand higher heat than the ke Creuset ones which break.

£29 for the 20cm one, compared to £45 for le Creuset

£35 for the 25.5cm one, compared to £52.50 for the le Creuset.

I hope it's ok to post this here? I bought Frasers ones three years ago and they're every bit as good as my Le Creuset.

The Aldi ones were really ugly looking though, like 70s throwbacks. :p

Had my set of Le Creuset pans for 25 years, they are still going strong so worth it if you can get them.

charity shops the best place to get things like this at bargin prices as alot of people dont know what cast iron is worth

It's not 'worth' a lot - just costs a lot when it has Le Creuset on it!

I have no issue with the product, just the really ridiculous prices, as demonstrated by the many similar products sold at much lower prices.

Still, if you have an AGA you have to maintain standards don't you!
