Saw this children's first computer that plugs straight into the television in Homebargains last night. Is recommended for children of 3 - 6 years. The games for the console are very cheap also 3 for £5 and they have loads of different ones including Thomas the Tank, Bob the Builder, Finding Nemo and Toy Story. (They had more but can't remember what they were.) Seemed like a really good deal, just depends whether you want children of this age to be sat in front of the tv/computer I guess.

Bought this several months ago to entertain children in hotel room. Made the mistake of throwing packaging and receipt out before going. It lasted 30mins of gentle play before mouse stopped responding and it ended up in the bin.
doesnt keep my 3 year old amused at all
As far as price goes this is very good as they're about £40 @ amazon,In my opinion this is a great buy as a learning aid as it has a working mouse, QWERTY keyboard, faux email inbox etc. In addition to introducing kids to computers(rather than gaming consoles) the clickstart software covers a range of skills including phonics, numbers, matching etc. I don't think they're designed to be 'sat in front of' but rather to be used with adult encouragement as a learning tool. Heat from me as that's a good price! :)
I think this has already been posted but they are great! Home Bargains also had the games £1.99 each or 3 for £5 although my local one I think has sold out of them

I think this may be what you mean? I thought the same but when I checked the system is mentioned in the thread but the deal posted is only about the games so don't think this classes as a duplicate
they've already had these in stock and sold out of them so not really much of a chance anyone finding these now. it was just limited stock
Lots in leigh branch...about 8 systems (mixture between pink and green) and plenty of games left as of yesterday when I was last in, they sold out of them the first day I spotted them in my local and 2 days later had more stock in!

I bought my twins this ages ago and I have to say they are excellent. I don't just leave them in front of it on their own, I always sit and help them. They are 4 now and still enjoy playing with it and it also gets them used to a QWERTY keyboard which makes them better than some of the other consoles that are supposed to be designed for learning. One thing I always do though is that I set up a little table and chair in front of the TV and use a dinner mat as a mouse board as the one that is attached to the keyboard is far too small.
This is a good price and as someone else said HB has currently got the games at 3 for £5 which is excellent.
I dont think its a very good price personally, I picked this up for £9.99 at xmas from amazon.
i don't leave my little girl in front of it either and she is still not interested. She love being on the pc with me though!
i bort one 2day lloads of games 1.99 too pretty good im sure my 3 year old will like it
