not so much a bargain when you realise how much the apps cost!

these were clearing in Tescos a few months ago for £25 each but returned them when I checked out the costs of the apps

If u add an alert on this site, the £15 app vouchers go half price every other month, and it will let you know who has the offer on. That's the only way I will buy games, sometimes you get an ail from leappad with a discount code with it. It was 30% off last week.

A good price BUT the photo is inaccurate. It shows a leappad power 2, which comes with rechargable batteries. A must with a product like this, unless you have shares in duracell. This link takes you to the regular leappad 2 that you have to put batteries in.

above link is 39.99 but it is the one pictured x

I got the first leappad a few years ago for my little girl and she still plays with it, i think the games are reasonable prices also the apps online, i would update hers to a newer version but im not sure if you can transfer the data to the newer one

Bought my daughter a Nabi 2 tablet from Argos eBay outlet. Refurbished but good cond. reduced price to £44.99 at the moment. Brilliant tab.

The price is low, sure, but the screen is pretty awful and resistive which makes even imprecise touch difficult; very slow and eats batteries quickly. Apps are good but expensive compared to apps on iPad/Android.

I ended up getting a refurb 7" Android tablet + case, sure much more expensive initial investment but far greater number of kids apps, many free or very low cost. Lots of apps become free or on sale.

Using the same account (if the kid is little) ensures you can download them on your phone in an "emergency" and transfer later to another tablet, etc.

Hi I looked into this the other day as I want to upgrade my daughters also, it says on the leappad website that the games can be downloaded onto 3 devices, so long as they are all registered on 1 account xx
