  Got to say I brought a load of these when my daughter was 4. She seems to have soon outgrown them with the exception of pet pals 2 (loves dogs so would play all day) think a cheap android tablet makes better sense as games are so cheap. price was fine though not voted.

  I did exactly the same. Hunted one down pre Xmas last year, found 2 for 1 download cards and bought £100 of those, two sets of rechargeable batteries and a charger and just before I wasted all that cash, I just nearly bought an ipad 2, which were being decently reduced at the time.
  
  I threw perhaps 10 hours of my time, £60 on the damn console, £50 on cards, £40 on batteries and charger and maybe another £30 on fuel, driving around to get the stuff. That £180 would have gone a long way towards a far more useful ipad2 (3 wasn't out for a few more months) which was around £320 or so.
