I have these for my daughter (3 1/2 yrs). Great books, excellent illustrations. We had a book sale in work and they were at the same price as this offer. Snapped them up as they will keep for when she is starting to learn even more. Likes to read them now before bed!

Buy now - learn later at this price...!

and are the books differently themed?

I'd wait if your little one is only 2 - If you're anything like me, it'll get put away and forgotten about.

never too early to have a book in hand - start them early they will not only learn to read earlier - they will learn to look after them

buy some board books for babies - for the pictures alone

have you ever been into someones house and couldnt see a book in view - arghhhh just bugs me - rant over

we've got this as a gift from our 3 yr olds aunty - there are great! Although she's not reading yet, she does have fun finding the duck on each page.
They are great for a 5 minute bedtime story.

ooh these look great for my 4 yr old - off to buy thanks OP.

I've also been looking at getting some of the jolly phonic workbooks for her but her nursery (private) dont use this method. Anyone any experience of using these particular books?

Oxford reading tree - Great books but only £9.99 for set at book people + quidco + FPP175A code for free delivery My kids also love looking for the things on each page. They do great flash cards too, most schools use Oxford reading tree so a great foundation for learning, they get to recognise charactors like Floppy and Kipper.

Here is a different set at the book people which is an oxford phonic set. How would these compare to the learning for a 4yr old?

Sorry to ask so many questions and i don't mean to point anyone to different deals as the one the OP suggested looks great..just trying to work out the best set to get for my daughter.

You're welcome! These ones look fun too, my 4 year old would love them, most of the Oxford ones are similar and as good as each other, I liked the Oxford learning tree as my 10 year old learnt with them and they go to a higher level with the magic key books, my 4 year old is enjoying them too he is on level 3 at the moment, he starts school in September and when we visited the school they had pictures of the characters from the books on the walls. .
