If you think that's a chair, I'd love to watch you eating your breakfast. I bet you'd need a tanker full of milk.
H+R for making me smile.

Thanks

my mate brought one just like that. Watch out for the plastic legs as they do tend to go if you a small tub.
#12
This chair is pretty comfortable for £22. Remember to wipe down the leather first though, or it will leave your clothes with a nasty smell.

Just what I thought

Would have bought this if there was one near me. Wonder why they don't have Scottish stores.
#15
brought one this morning

My last chair came with plastic arms and they snapped within 6 months. I'd recommend paying a bit more and getting one with metal arms.

Did you get your money back?
#18
No, I didn't bother taking it back, just bought a new one, can't remember where it was from now. Had my current chair about 3 years now, with no problems.
#19
I bought one of these from Argos (it looks exactly the same) it was a tenner more and felt like sitting on plywood so I reckon these possibly could all be Argos rejects as our store told me that people always bring them back.

If you sit at your computer any more than 2 hrs a day do not buy this cheap rubbish, it is very uncomfortable and rigid to sit on.

You get what you pay for!

Damnit the word is "bought"
#22
oh so that is where my father got his office chair from !

hard
as
nails

buyer beware.
#23
this is a brilliant chair if you only need it for a week.
#24
just buy a descent one from costco for about 60 quid, it will last you years, + most of them have 5 year guarantees.
#25
Got one of these a while ago when they were £20 IIRC. Comfy enough but dropping to bits now, you get what you pay for.......
#26
had this for a year the leather pretty much ripped. regular use.
#27
I bought this exact chair a while back, it's really really bad.. Voted Cold.
#28
I bought one of these yesterday and I don't think it's as bad as some folk make out.
I use a £100+ chair in my main office which can recline and is more comfortable but I've been sitting in this one for the last 3 hours and everything is fine.

For £21.99 you can't fall off! (well I suppose you could if you did something silly on it).

I would agree with one poster though - it stinks! It really does smell.
I've given it a wipe over and then used some leather cleaner but I can still smell it. I'm sure this will go with time.

As for longevity? Well others have more experience with this chair but I think that I'll more than get my moneys worth out of it as a casual chair.
