These look a good price, the boxing gloves are around £30+ elsewhere so this is hot.

LOL @ Grappling. I get a slapstick image in my mind!
#3
Wonder can these be doubled up to use as ordinary weighlifting gloves - don't see why not, unless they're too heavy and restricting.
#4
I was wondering when they would bring out some fighting mitts suitable for subduing one of those Bernard matthews' frankenstein Turkeys!

Excellent oven gloves...have some heat!

I think you might find some cheaper ones on ebay, i purchased grappling gloves 6 months ago from ebay although a little worn now still going good:

Ebay is frowned upon. Edit your post quick before a mod sees it and tells you off :\

Why is ebay frowned upon? Surly its no different than using the For Sale / Trade section here?

From the one review it looks like the MMA gloves have a padded palm bar which the reviewer says is a bit fiddly. I've generally taken these out on bag gloves etc. (easy to do depending on the filling and stitching). Anyone know if this is going to be an easy task on these gloves?

If you've ever done any serious sparring/training with plastic or canvas punchbags or blocks, you'll know what it feels like to lose most of the skin off your knuckles without something like wraps or a pair of these.

MMA gloves are a waste of time when you're training. I also agree with the other guy; you're asking ridicule if you walk into a regular gym with MMA gloves on
#18
The price is fine, but I find closed palm MMA gloves really annoying to fight and train in.

It's useful to work striking with MMA gloves as well as boxing gloves in the run up to a fight. Punching someone hard, and repeatedly, with 4oz gloves, when you're used to impacting with two or three times that, really hurts your hand afterwards. I'd love to see someone try and weightlift with MMA gloves on though!
