And then with O2 you have a 100 days money back guarantee when you can terminate the contract again. I am not saying that Be is not a good isp, but unfortunately i had probelms with them and i ended up paying 200 quids for a bt engineer to say it is a be isp fault on my line. I will try it with O2.

When you can get Be to work its good but unfortunately they are always going down and their Indian call centre staff are useless. I would love to leave but they are cheap for the speed and dont have any silly limits on how much you can download.

Be* support staff is based in Bulgaria, not India if I recall correctly.

BE* are rock solid and don't have an Indian call center.

Nice trolling

Be is O2 Broadband..O2 bought them last year and this is them launching under their new name, they are keeping the Be name too as an alternative to pull in customers

Utter rubbish, I think they have a Spanish call centre, regardless of its location the staff there i have spoken to speak far better English than the majority of the U.K. based call centres I have had the misfortune to deal with and they are also much more polite.

Only thing that annoys me about Be is that i'm supposed to get a DYNAMIC ip, but can I shake it??!?! Have had the same ip address for about 3 months now... :(

Any tips would be gratefully accepted on this one guys!

Why would you care if your IP was static or not?

And please for the love of god don't say security.

I have been with BE for a while now and they have been fine. They still rate highly on the DSLZone ISP Ratings. Click Here

I did get a phone call from O2 recently asking about switching ISP's, but I am more than happy with my £14 a month with BE.

Umm lots of reasons. I wouldn't get it unless I had a dynamic IP. eg Rapidshare.com allows 100mb to be downloaded every 180 mins. I just disconnect and reconnect get a new ip and then download again. The other day my ip appeared to not connect to face book. I got a new ip and it loaded instantly.
Not connecting to facebook has zero, zilch, nothing, nada whatsoever to do with if your IP is dynamic or not. All traffic is routed the same.
