These bulbs are similar to the old style incandescent bulbs with a warm light.

They come with a 3 year guarantee and A++ rating.

Unlike the 'polo neck' style LED which throw out the light 160 degrees
these ones illuminate 320 degrees.

Equivalent to the old fashioned 20 watt but in my view not far off the old 40 watt.

Excellent reviews and these bulbs should pay for themselves in a couple of years.

Just what I need for the porch light - only using 2W is gonna save the £1.39 pretty quickly. Thanks OP

Good find.

Many thanks to the OP

These are great bulbs and are ideal replacements for the old 25w or 40w clear candle bulbs.

I agree with the OP that these are nearer 40w and also the light is a soft warm colour.

These look great but I want to find a ceiling light that will use a load of these - something very plain that lets you see the bulbs.
All the ones I've found use the screw type bulbs which seem to be much more expensive. Don't suppose anyone knows of a good one that would take these bulbs?

Most of the ones I've found have BC / E27 fitting, like this:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01DEVWI0G
So I need either cheap BC filmament LED bulbs or a similar light fitting that takes these ES bulbs.
