LED Head Lamp at Poundland £1.00

BeetplekBeetplek

Need one of these as the clocks go back tonight and I need to walk when its dark. So as everywhere else seems to sell these kind of things for at least £5 I think this is worth getting, if only to try it out.

Bad quality, difficult to unscrew to insert or remove batteries, worth a quid though!

In the UK the clocks go forward 1 hour at 1am on the last Sunday in March, and back 1 hour at 2am on the last Sunday in October [quote from search - not me being clever, that wouldn't be me ;-} ].

These are OK but not brilliant, the head strap keeps comming off mine and its very annoying, poundworld have a similar one with a better headstrap

Wow, this used to be a pound. Great find.

Actually, it's always been a pound. How odd....

Similar to the £5 asda one. Been doing the job ok for me for a while.

If you were to spend a fiver on ebay you could no doubt get a much better torch.

I have to agree about the strap and the light put out by the LEDs is almost nothing, very poor quality.
Have used it for changing a lightbulb in a hallway and working inside a PC case (the ambient room lighting was stronger than the headlight making it pointless!).

This is a waste of £1. The straps dont keep on. Mines been binned.

I was waking up and getting ready for work and missing blue skies and warm sun as it was before the clock rolled back an hour. But I have to be honest and wonder why the heat is so high on this deal when these problems exist with this particularly model. I mean, it hasn't exactly got a fruit logo on the side of it, so no matter what's wrong/deficient it's fanboyz will continue to sing its praises.

I'll be looking elsewhere for my 3rd eye methinks.

I have had to put the strap back on a good few times. And yes, it is flimsy - but for the money on the highstreet it's still a good deal to my mind.

Definitely worth it as a backup, car torch, etc.

The light isn't great for an LED torch, but still fine for doing things close or dog walking at night, say - not useful for illumination to cycling, but ok on flashing mode to show others you are there.

Rubbish is still rubbish even if its only a quid

I'm nt a fan of pound land stuff but my hubby has had this for ages for the loft and worked fine until our son broke it. For occasional use it's worth a quid.

Just about to post this but HUKD flagged up as a dup (Well done!!!)

Anyway's amazing deal, strapped it to my cycle helmet to help me get my bike outta the shed in the morning :D
