Product Description
Manufacturer's Description
The Police Tech Focus Black Professional hand held torch is presented in a gift box. The Police Tech Focus has quickly built a reputation of being the preferred choice of the boys in blue. Extremely popular because of its handy compact size, weighing in at only 144gms it is also very lightweight to carry on your belt. The positioning of the on/off switch on the rear tail cap enable it to be pulled from the pouch and switched on in one motion, and also makes this torch ideal for signalling with. The contacts are 24 ct Gold and the casing aircraft aluminium.

A patented prism reflector system and a high intensity 1.25 watt LED bulb give the torch a supremely bright beam which can be adjusted to either spot focus or flood focus by twisting the head of the torch. The light output is 80 Lumens from just 3 x AAA alkaline batteries, which provide up to 50 hours of light from one set of batteries. Not bad considering a pack of 4 batteries should cost as little as £1.99.

All round our number 1 selling torch. It is supplied with a lanyard and durable nylon pouch with belt buckle for storage when the user is active.

Price isn't bad I paid £25 a year ago when they were on offer at amazon.

The torch is good, but eats batteries and I've got brighter no make ones, I bought this one as I thought it was supposed to be really good and bright etc.

It is very good quality though, well built and will last much longer than others I have got

It may be well built and a good price compared to other sites, but 105 lumens is pretty atrocious for a torch of this price.

And it may last a lifetime, but so what ?

The way LED technology is going in a couple of years torches will be brighter than the sun, run for 30 years on an AAA battery and cost 5pence :)

This is on my Amazon wish list and was £23.99 the other day at 7day stop so i see that Amazon have now priced matched. I was toying with the idea of geting a new torch but from the above comments i think il stick with my surefire, most useful piece of kit ive ever brought!

"Nice but dim" . Yes the flashlight.

I have many flashlights but I take this to work.

dangerous or what!!
4100 lumens and burns paper in 1 second, plastic in 2 secs and cooks an egg in less than 30 secs

That 4100 lumens one has 5 mins runtime! It has a clicky on switch too so it could easily turn itself on in your bag. In spite of the certain burns I still want one!
This torch looks like a good deal. No variable ouput (except through focusing) and 3 x AAA batteries would put me off though. 3 just seems like an odd number when they come in packs of 4. I have a fenix ld20 that I cannot recommend highly enough.

Get some sanyo eneloop batteries for this (only use disposables in an emergency because they don't last as long) and you will get somewhere near the advertised run time.
