I'm not sure if this was a local deal but just picked up a Led floodlight from Lidl for 11.99, having researched prior to this the price of a led floodlight usually they range from around 18-30 with a sensor for a 10w

This puts out 790 Lumens of light and was worried it would not be bright enough for our small garden.

As you can see from the photos it's pretty bright considering the price and small form.

The photo shows inside our room with just the light source but might be able to take it out to the garden later to show others how much it lights up

These are perfect for the front of house

how are these powered?

Are these mains or battery?

They need to wired with some 1mm 3 core cable, im using the tough cable for external use.

Also wiring it into a light circuit of a 5 amp junction box as the light ring is RC protected.

I bought this to replace the battery one we had as they do not last long and this is the equivalent price of 2 packs of D batteries

I have looked high and low for a decent led floodlight with a sensor at this price and this was the best. The internals look nice to and has been earthed correctly

have a couple of these.they are fine for lighting down the sides of your house but obviously with the output don't expect miracles floodlighting your garden. very good build quality and wired correctly

Agreed and for those with a hobbit sized garden :D

Just purchased this LED spotlight to replace an existing QI one. Can not get it to work. Tried adjusting all controls but only way to get LED to illuminate is to shine a light into the sensor! What am I doing wrong? Has anyone else experienced this problem?
