A hot deal and voted as such
But let me tell you... Lee Evans has lost his mojo... the new dvd is nowhere near as funny as previous releases.

Great price,i bet loads of people are gonna be peed off that they paid full price and its got a great deal on it already,i dont agree about him losing his mojo, other than the bit where he meets the woman and gets married and a kid in like 2 minutes i thought it was as good as his others if not better,he's getting a little close to the bone with some gags also
#11
i paid £12 when it first came out ! i highly recommend this for this price! great performer! H&R added!

I went to see this live at the NIA in Birmingham and it was just as good as his previous shows if not better in my opinion and everyone else who was there that we spoke to had nothing but good things to say about it, the whole arena did not stop laughing from start to finish.

I haven't seen the DVD yet, so I don't know if it loses some of it's atmosphere, my wife is getting it me for Christmas so I'll be able to tell then, but, the Amazon reviews would suggest that they agree with me about seeing him live.

Yes I've seen him live on a number of occasions, and you do get swept along with the audience, but on DVD, as I say, he's losing his sparkle. The gags are unfunny, but the physical comedy is always enthralling.

Best price I've seen but i have to agree that, while it is a good performance, i was disappointed compared to his previous live DVDs. 2002's Wired And Wonderul is still my favourite.

Stand up comedy fans should also check out Michael Mcintyre's new Live and Laughing DVD.

i saw him live and thought it was his best yet to be honest
#18
Does he do Bohemian Rhapsody on this? I've only seen him do it 100 times before on TV and would like a record of it on DVD.
#19
He saw him in Sheffield and he did it at the end,im sure if you go on the extra's of the XL tour its on there tho

Disagree - He is back to his very best and moves around the stage like a teenager.
This is a MUST HAVE comedy dvd.

Damn! I have been wanting this for a while but I have been waiting for a price reduction, but there is no Asda close enough to me. Oh well, I will have to keep my eye out for a little bit longer.

Just went to Asda in Swanley, still £13.42 but after a call to HO was allowed it for £7. Apparently this price goes live from tomorrow 19/12/08. Strange though that the CS desk was told by HO to tell the Entertainment Desk to remove all copies from shelf until tomorrow though so maybe it should be from today and some stores are overcharging!

Heat & Rep added :santa:

Saw him at o2 from the splash zone (12th row centre stage) and thought he was hillarious as did my wife and two teenage daughters, well worth £7 for the laughs that you'll get!

Going to see him at the SECC, Glasgow in October this year was my worst ever decision.

Go & ask your dentist to pull out one of your teeth without anaesthetic for a more enjoyable experience!
#33
Still £13.42 in Edinburgh :-(
#34
Price tags still say £13.42 in ASDA LINWOOD but at till it goes through at £7! Thanks so much. Was waiting til this came down in price as I wanted 4 copies for my brothers and boyfriend. Gona go back tomorrow and get the Michael McIntyre one.

THANK YOU!!! I love this site :-D

So I'm not the only one then but fortunately I didn't fork out to see him live.
What a total waste of a skin!
How on earth is he funny?
We now have the UK version of Jerry Lewis who also was a complete moron.
Watching the grass grow is 100 times funnier than watching him.
I just don't see what is supposed to be funny about him.
Humour ? Where?

We'd actually got the tickets from my m-i-l for our anniversary - now I know she doesn't like me!
