The Glee Clubs are honoured to welcome back one of Britain's best-loved stars of stage, screen and stand-up...Lee Evans.

In preparation for his 2011 'Roadrunner' UK Tour Lee will be trying out new material at The Glee Club Birmingham, Cardiff and Nottingham on selected dates in early 2011.

A multi-talented comedian, he has also gained acclaim on both stage and screen, was nominated for an Olivier award for his performance as Leo Bloom in the hit stage musical 'The Producers' and has starred in such Hollywood blockbusters as 'There's Something About Mary', 'The Fifth Element' and the award-winning 'Funny Bones'.

'Wired & Wonderful' was huge, 'XL' was big, 'BIG' was even bigger! Now the legendary Lee Evans embarks on his most ambitious tour to date. ROADRUNNER is Lee’s amazing new show with over 50 nights in the biggest arenas in the country. Lee will be playing to more fans than ever on this record-breaking tour of the UK and Ireland.

Good deal but personally I'd wait for the tour if just going for Lee Evans.

I'm trying to estimate how much they'd need to pay me to spend a 2hrs watching Lee Evans.

£100 ? I doubt I'd do it for less.
#18

Nah, I much prefer an intimate venue. That's what stand up is about, otherwise you may as well be watching it on telly.

Went last time - he did close to two and a half hours. Walked on with a sheaf of A4 and just ploughed through gags. He was chucking stuff over his shoulder and sayign it was rubbish whilst the audience was wetting themselves. I thought the quickfire approach suited him more than the polished stadium script. Hot from me.

got tickets for nia, in sept £30 each carn't watch this as will spoil,

Just bought for brum. Sounds like a cracking deal - just a little worried about him cancelling tho. Terms and conditions focus on artists cancelling heavily!

Totally agree, I saw Lee Evans when he was just starting out, supporting Jack Dee.
