It's not a good game.

http://www.metacritic.com/game/playstation-4/the-legend-of-korra Even the user score is low.

It's a simple, mindless beat em up using the korra franchise as an easy cash in.

Despite what the "critics" say, I and many other people who played it found it to be pretty great. Satisfied with my purchase at full price, so I'd recommend it at £8.

The metacritic score really doesn't do it justice, have you actually played it? The battle system actually has a lot of depth, though you're free to play it like a mindless beat em up if you wish.

6.4 is not a low user score on the internet. It is 1.4 above average. You're comment 'bad' is so untrue just based on metacritic. But the 1000+ on PSN that have give it 4/5 dont know what they are talking about?

Pretty sure I said it's not a 'good game', never mentioned the word bad at any point. In terms of how we rate games nowadays, yeah 6.3 is kind of seen as pretty low game. Most critics see 9+ as excellent, 8+ as very good, 7+ as good, 6+ as okay. It doesn't make that much sense but that's how it is. Generally gamers expect a 8 or above.

I was more commentating on the critic scores from metacritic but just pointed out the user score as well. 54% on average is not good.

You realize the reviews on PSN mean absolutely nothing right? It's well known and even joked out that virtually every single game gets 4/5 on the reviews. It's not a good source to quote...

No its not. Not really. Critics get paid to talk crap. U search the internet now for reviews on Driveclub and they will all be very low, Because none have even bothered to update them because their job has been done. You ask anybody on HUKD and Driveclub would of got a 2/5 on release but i bet you now the majority will give it 4/5 after the updates. Critics leave reviews on metacritic and you dont see them again!

A game should be reviewed in it's current state of release. If the game is a broken mess at launch then that's the developers problem. They shouldn't get a free pass and a re-review when they finally fix problems months later when it shouldn't have been there in the first place. The LAST thing we need to be doing as a gaming community is telling developers we'll review their games again later when they fix problems. Developers need to make sure they're not broken from the get go.

Hey just wondering, I currently have a ps3 and am thinking of getting this for the ps3 but plan to get a ps4 soon. Will I be able to play the game on ps4 if I buy the PS3 version? Is it like in IOS where you get an app for iPad you also get the iphone version free?

Biggest load of crap i have ever heard. Im sorry if that offends you but you think when a game gets fixed it should still be labelled with the release review? Game has dropped in price since they fixed it but that is not enough? Lets ruin it for future gamers who want a perfectly good game (once fixed) but wont buy it because you think reviews shouldnt be altered? Give over!

The whole point of reviews is for people to get an idea of whether they should buy something or not. If the product in the review at the time of release is completely different to the product now then the review is pointless without some sort of update. This is pretty much going off-topic anyway.

There are some games which are cross-buy, in that you're essentially purchasing a license for both versions of the game, but I don't think this is one of them.

Ermm did you even read what I said? The PSN reviews across the board are not even worth quoting. Look it up if you want, they all get virtually 4/5 minus the odd extremely bad game or extremely well acclaimed game. I'm not claiming they're fixed, I think it's pretty obvious I was not saying, the way in which the rating works on PSN is just very flawed.

Not many, if any at all after updates are 'completely' different, most are minor. In the case of what was mentioned, Drive Club was rated poorly for it's online being an absolute broken mess, it deserved those reviews and should not have them re-reviewed when they fix them. The developers know the problems are there and choose to release the game anyway (AC Unity a prime example), they either delay the game or face those reviews.

No, nothing of what you said could possibly offend me. If a game was reviewed poorly because it was broken then yes, it should not be re-reviewed. Why are you possibly condoning the release of broken games that are becoming ever so more common? You're essentially saying we should give a free pass to developers to release broken games as they can just fix it sometime later. Have you not seen the mess that Drive Club and even more so AC Unity were? In the case of Unity, they knew it was broken but chose to release it anyway. Even now it's still not running all that well. It would be a negative to the gamers to have games mass re-reviewed when broken games are fixed as it'll just mean broken games are released more often and that alone is why it should not happen for that reason alone. A game should perhaps be re-reviewed if it was released not broken and just simply added more content to make it better, that's a different argument.

Clearly not grasping the concept of what I'm saying and why.

Can you explain how Unity meant in any way I lost the battle? It's one of the biggest, most glaring cases of a broken game. The game had a multitude of bugs and the fps dipped into the mid-teens when next gen should be all about solid 60fps, 30 at the least. I'm just not sure the logic there or how you still didn't get my point but alas nevermind.

Nothing personal, I love talking about games regardless.

Not many are completely different, no, but thats pretty irrelevant, reviews should be updated for those that are. Wouldnt you say one product with no functioning online is different to a product with a functioning online, photo mode, and one of the best weather simulations out there? If I was interested in buying it at a time when all these features are there, why should I care about the state of the game on release? It's also funny that you mention Unity, which is sitting on a metacritic in the 70s, higher than many games (this included) with none of the major problems it had. Halo:MCC is another example. Fail to see how metacritic is the best place for opinions.

He's right though. There are way too many games these days being released in a 'broken' state. Even if it gets fixed a later date, this means the early adopters who pay full price are the ones who suffer. To update a review periodically is like giving the developer a second chance, when really they deserve those poor sales from trying to con people in the first place!
