'8-bit Link will reward you with a random number of barrels. You might find rupees inside too!
Legend has it, you may even receive special items related to each amiibo figure!'

Yeh, beats the other three in my book!

Thank you very much for sharing this! Much Appreciated. ^_^

Switch, 3DS & Wii U. It'll have a minor effect on quite a lot of games, better to google for amiibo compatability by game, but my guess is this particular amiibo will be compatible with any game that any other one of Link would be. Like I say though, many amiibos don't have as much actual benefit to the games they are for as a lot of people who buy them would probably want.

It's definitely compatible with Breath of the Wild, beyond that, not sure.

i see. the only amibo I've ever owned is the wolf link one. which was well worth it for Twilight Princess

this handy fan made amiibo chart should tell you what they do
https://miketendo64.com/2016/08/13/version-10-0-of-the-fan-made-amiibo-compatibility-chart-is-here/

its worth having a couple of the more useful ones i think like mario etc as they are like DLC you can use across multiple games and formats.
