Well I don't know about that, I remember paying £59 for N64 titles but yes in this day and age it's a bit high :P

I can see them dropping the RRP on software though.

Quite interesting that they're selling the console for £10 more than other retailers.

Yeah I saw that :D

Games £10 less, consoles £10 more. Balance!

Still feels too much. £39.99 is the right spot for a Nintendo game.

You're not going to buy 100x Nintendo Switch units? Oh...

I already have preordered many, I know this will sell out due to nintendos release campaign, I'll profit on these just like the wii u when that came out and nes mini. Nintendo purposefully don't supply enough to build demand

Ha ha spasho good comment and proved accurate! I'd agree with most comments in that the games are a bit expensive and I do like Nintendo games ( having owned a 3ds and still own a wii u and original wii)

I think nintendo is pricing things high because there's always nintendo fans who are willing to pay more at launch. After launch period I think prices will go down.

Like every game for every console ever released!

If this was £40 then it would be a bargain

Well, the dead WiiU version is on pre-order for £40 at Amazon which is good for collectors' and the small/tiny fanbase but the majority will play it on a Switch.

No deals on Switch games as of yet. There was a Switch console deal but that's long gone (it was GameSeek's £198.50).

Still ****, but better. Hopefully more places will keep pushing this down over the next few weeks before launch. I don't mind paying £40 odd for a game around a console launch but 50-60 is a joke.

Nintnedo are always charging higher but isn't £55 the RRP price for games this gen? everywhere is selling for 60

Think they increased it to £60. Considering the fact that games for new consoles tend to stick closer to RRP, this isn't such a bad deal.

ive got a preorder with console at game for £60, now this for £50, hopefully something better comes along, if not, ill take this at £50.

Don't need an abundance of launch games, as ghost recon, and mass effect come out march as well, ill wait for £20-30 prices, if this is their game

no they have always been £50 plus at launch. Xbox one and ps4 were the same at launch.

PS4 games were worse. £55-£60 at launch.

It does come down eventually.

I was going to say the same.

I'm thinking I'm going to cancel my preorder and get Zelda on the U. The launch titles are really poor and I'll be able to get one later when I'm sure the poor sales (surely they will be at these prices!) force Nintendo to rethink.

I'm hoping it'll be fine going forward, I think the console looks great. Just the price (especially for peripherals) and games available are shocking!

Forgot about zero dawn. Think I may hold off on that as it's single player. May buy a ps4 pro later in the year and catch up on their exclusives. Just hoping my ps4 with pt might be worth something eventually

It's because pre-auth's only last 28 days on Paypal, so it's either charged on dispatch or 28 days after the order whichever comes first.
