Very overpriced set as it stands, even with £5 off. I'm betting these sets drop in price quite dramatically over the next few months.

50 quid seems outrageous for that set!

some unique pieces but 50 quid is way too steep!

I like Lego, but this set is worth nowhere near that price. Cold as a Lego witch's, ermmm, stud.

Camel alert set for £20

Lego RRP has gone up 10% this week.

I think its on all sets above £35

Lego prices have gone silly

The US RRP is $50 and in Europe it's €50.

Why is the GBP so much higher in equivilant excnahge rate pricing? Seems wrong.

The new Batman minifigures series are on sale now for £2.99 each. The last series three or four months ago were £2.49.If this is the way that Lego RRP (RIP?) is going,i'll be waiting for the sales.

I noticed Lego put their prices up but they did announce in December they were going to do that. I was expecting maybe 5% though. The minifigures have gone up by 20% which was a shock. They are also being shy about announcing the UK price for Lego Boost which makes me think it will be quite high! Still, if you want the Joker vehicle then this is the best price I've seen so far.

Very over priced as most of the new sets are

Lego put their prices up an average of 5% which is reasonable given currency movements (a separate point from whether the starting prices were reasonable!) Some sets increased by more, some by less.

Collectible minifigs are more expensive this time around but these are, for the first time, licensed. The true test will be what happens when their next non-Lego Batman range is priced.

Can only charge what people are willing to pay. And let's be honest. When is last time you paid rrp for a lego set.

The Disney range were licensed but were still £2.50

Ah yes, I forgot about those. I think my point is still valid, though, that we won't know if this price change is related to the licensing (or profiteering!) until the next lot come out. DC may be a more costly license than a general Disney license.

The minifigs have gone up across the board - all countries are seeing a price increase.
