RRP are shocking, $99 in US compared to £109 in UK. Makes no sense when the exchange rate (though bad) still gets you more dollars than pounds.

When did Lego become the toy of the rich. Prices have gone insane because adults are willing to pay a fortune, pushing these 'toys' out of reach of the kids they were designed for. Such a shame.

Probably best buying from Amazon at £84.44 (2p more), in my opinion. Purchased some FBA stuff before that's been dodgy.

Pop into Sainsbury's any other week and you'll have your pick from Lego ranging from 25-33% off. I see what you're saying, though :)

all lego will get a reduction at some point, never buy it for full price, 30% off is a standard somewhere down the line

Lego has always been for the more 'well offf' in my opinion, my parents could never afford to get it me when I was a kid. Now of course it means when my payday rolls around all I wanna buy is Lego since I was deprived of it as a kid!

You also have to add on the local tax for US prices which varies state to state.
