Lego mindstorm stuff is quite brilliant. Amazing what can be done.

While it might look expensive, you try buying /making the sensors/programmer/etc.

I guess too many people think this is a kids toy rather than a pretty capable robotics experimentation kit.

it would get a cold vote even if it was under £100 :(

great saving ..
from 200 ish down to 179 ..
but it is still a very expensive piece of kit.
voted hot .. but it will take a lot to push it back to positive

Looks very intersting, shame that my sons are still too young (oldest is 6) to give me an excuse to buy this and play with it ;)

This is a good deal if you are after this set. I originally bought this set about 18 months ago and my 12 year old son played with it a lot using a Macbook to control it and for the build instructions.
We sold it in January for just over £180 on ebay as they were in short supply and even if you could get one they were going for well over £200. This is the best price I have seen for a new set for ages. Voted hot.
