Cold, will wait for these to be 1/3 off elsewhere.

A great way to devalue the meaning of presents and increase expectations for all young kids.

Because these are a tad over the top for an advent calendar.

Not for a LEGO fan!

My 20 year old son and my 4 year old son LOVED theirs last year! Each morning the pair of them excitedly opened the doors and then spent quality 'sibling time' assembling their figures. That to me is PRICELESS! I just wish that this year's figures were more exciting!

£24 is more than reasonable for the star wars one. They will soon be out of stock at that price and you will only be able to get them via eBay at stupidly marked up price from previous experience. Granted they seem expensive and a few years ago I wouldn't even consider it but now me and my son enjoy Lego together they're more than worth it, hours of fun and when the novelty wears off sometimes the individual figures can be worth more than the calendar was originally after a while or at least you can sell it all with little or no loss so it's more than worth the money, any Lego fan/collector will confirm.

Figures are somewhat disappointing to previous years, can't beat Santa Darth Vader

Doesn't look very christmassy to me.

(A white chewbacca and a snowman with a gun)

Totally agree that Santa Darth Vader was a great addition to the 2014 calendar!

For Lego Star Wars? Cheapest you can get for those the past 3 years is on the 3 for 2 at Boots or Argos (ie 3 for £50 making them circa £16.67)... How did you get them for £13?

I quite like the snow Chewbacca this year! Agreed it's no way near as good as Christmas Darth Vader and Christmas Darth Maul but in my opinion 100x better than last years most disappointing figure of C3PO with a Father Christmas torso :P

Even if you don't use these as advent an calendar, they are good bang for your buck for SW minifigs. Several £100 on SW Lego sets later, we realised that the sets don't play that well in the hands of 4-6 year old but that they prefer to make their own open design vehicles/ scenes but using the SW minifigures. You can only get minifigures with sets so the microfighter sets on offer cost £6 (RRP £9-10) get you 1 figure, the RRP £20 sets get you 2 figures, RRP £30 sets maybe 3-4. Unless you go onto eBay but you'd struggle to find certain figures.

I always but these on 3 for 2 in Argos when the offer is on. Is more than likely going to happen before Xmas, it always does!

I bought 2013 for £10 from Argos, 2014 for £12 from Boots.
