LEGO Batman: The Videogame is the latest game from the award-winning team behind the LEGO Star Wars and LEGO Indiana Jones games. With trademark LEGO fun and charm, the game takes you into the world of the ultimate crime-fighting hero.

LEGO Batman: The Videogame brings the one-and-only Caped Crusader to life in a completely original storyline. Players will take control of the Dynamic Duo, Batman and Robin, to fight Gotham Citys most notorious criminals including The Joker, The Penguin, Catwoman, Scarecrow, Killer Croc and many more. The criminals have broken out of Arkham Asylum and are set to wreak havoc on the city.

Players will also be able to explore their wicked side and fight their way through the game as the villains, experiencing the game from a completely different point of view with all-new criminal objectives!

With a collection of high-tech suits, gadgets and cutting-edge vehicles on hand, players will be able to step into the unique LEGO Batman universe to bring super villains to justice - or, as the villains, to run amok in Gotham City!

LEGO Batman The Videogame Features:

* Fight for justice as Batman and Robin or create chaos as The Joker, Catwoman and other villains, as you save or destroy Gotham City.
* Rocket through sewers and bound across rooftops as you take the fight to the criminals across classic locations in Gotham City.
* Fight on land, sea and in the air using a number of powerful Batman, Robin and villain-controlled vehicles, including the rocket-powered Batmobile, sleek Batboat and stealthy Batwing.
* Enhance the abilities of the Dynamic Duo with all new power suits, including the Magnetic Suit.

I know it's £29.73 at The Hut before anyone mentions it. GAME's Cashback combined with pre-order reward points will take off £4.80 roughly.

Ok a good price if you MUST have this on day of release, my advice...come back in three to four weeks time and there is a good chance it will be on here for less than £20!

Patience is a virtue (and easier on the pocket)

£27.98 at Game when you also buy a dvd gift wrap box for 99p and use one of the £3 off vouchers. And then also get Game points and Quidco at 11%.

Great deal.

Thanks flumpet - I was in such a rush this morning I forgot to mention the £3 off voucher!

I just pre-ordered my copy of this game with a total price of £23.50 roughly - only if...

The quidco holds at 11%(£3 roughly), you add a 99p dvd gift wrap box then you use £3 off £30 code NW05GME6.

You then receive £1.53 back in GAME reward card points. So a rough price of £23.50 should be pretty close to your final amount after all vouchers and codes have been used together and taken into consideration...and you have a handy dvd gift wrap box left over :)

Okay, question for everyone, i have a PS2 and the last 3 lego games(Star Wars, Indy). Thing is I've bought the kids a Wii for Xmas. What is the difference in gameplay? Should I buy this for the Wii or PS2? I know the PS2 version is cheaper, but i'm willing to wait for the price to come down on the Wii version. Sorry if this sounds all jumbled, i'm thinking as i type!

the lego games have never really gotten cheap on wii, so you would be in for a wait.

ive never played them on the wii, just DS and PS3 but i guess it may be harder to play on Wii than PS2.

id get it on ps2. also you say you have the last 3 lego games - do you mean lego star wars 1 and 2 and Indy? there was Lego Complete Saga too, but i guess you wouldnt need that.

I love these lego games BTW.

I have Lego Star Wars on GBA and Gamecube, Lego Star Wars II on GBA, DS and PSP, Lego Complete Saga on DS and PS3 and Lego Indy on DS and PS3. Also Lego Batman for DS.

Of course all the DS and GBA ones are just roms, but i still love them.

starsparkle - you still have a ps2 ? hd gaming is now sub £100 you know.

anyway, my advice to everyone is to hold fire on the major releases as I anticipate that there will be big deals around release dates and also morrisons may be doing the game deal again.
