But the lego kit is cracking value

I'd love the kit. It's a shame lego don't do a decent lighting range.

This lighting only cost about £12 in China, don't be fooled!

Yeah, I've just ordered the kit for the VW camper van from AliExpress and it was only £16 quid delivered.

I'm keeping an eye on the Creator Ferrari F40 and the Caterham 7 models for our son for christmas. Both are £69.99 and apparently exclusive to JL and the Lego shop.

Will only be getting one of them for him, but hoping for a bit of a price drop.

I had been tracking the Creator Ferrari for a year now .. didnt drop a pence .. but luckily got it via the 15% quidco cashback on lego website last week ..

Yes, a shocking price for a few LEDs and a controller. Has anyone got a link to the original supplier on alibaba or banggood? If not it'd be cheaper to buy a raspberry pi and leds and make your own one!

Cheers for the heads up on Quidco. Its says 3% but then mentions that it'll track at lower amount before going up to 15%.

I've bit the bullet and ordered the F40 from the Lego Store, as I hadn't realised we had some VIP points, so got £5 off. Also, got the 24 in 1 'calendar' set free for spending over £60, and a free 'toy soldier' christmas tree ornament.
