Completely disagree! The second Jones was fantastic, the ony possible negative was that it was a little too easy, but that was due to the way the menus and levels were laid out.

Personally I'll be happy so long as the multiplayer is split screen again.

heat & rep added as my son (and me) loves these, agree with JusitifiedAncient in that Indy2 was awesome and the new multiplayer split screen is very good solving lots of problems when me and my son play !!

Quidco just tracked at £1.37 too which makes it £26.12 by my reckoning, even better :)

These games are such good fun, but i'm going to wait for the inevitable Lego Harry Potter Episodes 1-7 rather than buy them separately!

Second Indy game is excellent!

Don't let the idea of revisiting the same theme put you off, the design work that went into the game itself is brilliant.

Anyone able to confirm what coopshop are like for pre-order delivery times?

It would be released on the kiddo's birthday :(

They tried something different with Indy 2, I'm not really sure why people hate it so much. The actual levels were far smaller, but instead you had very big hub worlds with a lot to do and explore around them. I really liked the format, with the only downside being there was no freeplay and characters were limited depending on what hub you were using.

But Harry Potter seems to be using a mix of the two, with bigger levels, but still a fairly large hub level to explore that unlocks more areas as you progress.

I've got over 60 games for the xbox, and my favourites by far as the Lego games.
Having true 2-player mode makes it great for sharing with your child and the occasional humorous twist is also fun.
As with others, I feel that the second Indy is much better, as it addresses problems that existed with the first: e.g. Losing all your progress in an area if you didn't complete it; Not being able to go split-screen when you both go in different directions, such that you drag one-another. I'm glad it's not identical to the first, but I also wouldn't want it too-different either as it might lose some of the magic.
As for HP, i'll definitely buy it once we have completed Indy2, and then Lego Batman, by which time i'm sure it will be down to <£10 - they usually come down in price quite quickly!

I don't think they will put all 7 years on one disc. I believe the next one will be Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7

Got my dispatch email at 10pm last night, not holding out that it will be at home waiting for me. If not, I'll be even more depressed after seeing it cheaper in Sainsburys.
#23
got mine yesterday too, however i cancelled this one and got the collectors edition instead :)

This is a decent saving considering the value of it, just been to Tesco and my 9 year old spotted it, so I checked Hot Deals and bingo, i've saved again.
Thanks folks:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
