i was wandering around west quay for a new t.v and saw that they were reducing these to clear. After leaving west Quay i realised to late that these were the pal ones worth money. I have no idea if this was store specific or nationwide. Didnt buy one so didnt ask.

good luck

The £5 vouchers have finished and you cant use them anymore

You're kidding, right?
Who the hell would pay £45 for a 2nd copy of a 2 year old Lego game. On the Wii??!!!
I mean I loved the game and I got it back when it came out but it's not a collectors item or anything like an old N64 game or even Ico or SOTC for the PS2.

Yeah but why. It's not an amazing game and it's years from becoming a collectors item.

Ahem, I would suggest to those who are not in the know, you google as to why it is so expensive.
#17
I`m keeping mine as the kids love it.

Expired now anyway

to anyone who needs this, i managed to rent a copy from lovefilm..

Obviously doesn't have the resale benefits, but it means you can get hold of it.

ok here's the deal. Apparently these games have an *exploit* that means you can save the game on the Wii at the end of the first level replacing it with a different save file. This allows code to be written and the 'homebrew' channel to be installed.
This will allow you (if you so choose) to play back-up copies of games with no copy protection.
Beware though! some of the copies are a later version with the *exploit* removed.

you'd have thought so, but googling it seems it's out of 'print' as well and going for big money on ebay as well(I had a little look a few weeks back before I got hold of lego indiana jones pre-owned for £23 from game).

I haven't looked at the bigger pc world and currys near me but the smaller pc world in town did not have this.

p.s. riteondeals are you 100% sure it was the original adventures(i.e. the 1st one) that was this price?

I actually cant believe it, it is out of stock everywhere! Amazon sellers are trying to flog it for £99!!

Is the exploit the same on all versions PAL/NTSC?

could you be kind enough to post links to the instock pal edition for us poor shmucks who don't have your godly googling skills? ;)

p.s. it's not like I didn't spend ages googling this before getting a pre-owned copy from game for £23.

was it a pre-owned copy? I found 1 copy at 1 of the 2 stores in town a few weeks back but didn't get it, went back the following week to get it and they didn't have it any more but lucky for me the other store had a copy.

Sure no worries I found it in stock here for £29.50 ...

Link1

Also in stock here for £38.99 ...

Link2

I have not dealt with either so best advice would be to research both dealers before you make a purchase and I did notice they accept Paypal as payment method which would be a safer bet. Cheers

There is only one version, this game has never been remade, so no matter what PAL version you buy it has the hack built in.

neither of those 2 came up in my search, the 2nd link is too expensive anyway. the 1st link is only £7 more than I paid for mine(tho mine was pr-owned) but not heard of them so not sure I'd take a risk(even with paypal).
#38
Not allowed to discuss here why these are expensive got one today from game pre-owned bit costly but it's worth it. I can make treble from it hopefully quadruple lol.

think some poor unsuspecting soul had just brought it into the store not knowing wat it was worth and my hubby asked the guy check out back. Lucky, that ;)

i will never pay the sort of prices people are charging, even cex as uped its price from 28 pnd to 50 pnds. there will always be places selling it cheaper else where.
