"Lego has reached a whole new level with this intelligent brick robot set. The intelligent brick is the brain of the robot and features a powerful 32-bit microprocessor plus support for USB 2.0 and Bluetooth. It boasts an exciting list of gadgets that any techno minded person will be thoroughly impressed by, including:

32-bit micro processor
4 input ports
3 output ports
7 6-wire cords
Matrix display
Real sound spreaker
USB 2.0 and Bluetooth®
3 Interactive Servo Motors with built-in rotation sensor
4 sensors: 1x ultrasonic sensor, 1x sound sensor, 1x touch sensor, 1x light sensor
With this list of goodies you'll be able to build the smartest, strongest and most advanced LEGO robot ever, in as little as 30 minutes. Thanks to the Quick-Start guide, easy-to-use software and step-by-step building instructions, beginners and experts alike can create humanoid, vehicle and animal robots that obey every command!

The NXT 2.0 has 16 guided building and programming challenges which explain how to make 4 unique robots.

To get you going there is a Quick Start model which teaches you how to make your robots move, and this forms the basis for the first building challenge, the Shooterbot.

Having built the Quick Start model, you naturally progress into the first building and programming challenge with the Shooterbot. For this model you can build the New Colour Sensor into your robot enabling it to recognise different colours and act as a light sensor, following a line and shooting balls at anything that gets in its way!

As you progress through each model youll learn how to add new functions to your robot such as sound sensors and touch sensors.

Software features include:

Sound Editor- A new application that makes it possible for users to customise and personalise your robot by importing sound files- or record your own via a PC microphone and loading them onto your NXT 2.0, making the robot speak with your own voice or a funny sound!
Remote Control- This allows for instant and direct control of your robot without any special programming needed. You can use the Remote control function via a USB cable or wirelessly through your computers Bluetooth connection.
Pack and Go- This software function makes it easy for you to share your programs with other users."
