Flashpoint
the book is only a ideas book, not a step by step guide.

Doesn't state anywhere that it IS a step by step guide, does it?

It's a good book, has helped my son get even more creative with his bricks.

we have this book it is great, especially when all your sets are mixed up and the kids are moaning that they don't know what to do/build. Have some heat :)

I bought the 'Lego Ideas' book instead of this one for Christmas. When my 7 year old son saw it, he initially told me that he had a great imagination and did not need to look at a book for ideas! However, he has now been looking at it, and has been making some fantastic creations - last night it was a desk tidy - he has to look at his collection of Lego to see if he has the right bricks etc. (this book is not a step-by-step guide either), and if he is missing something, he improvises. Haven't seen this book, but definitely think that the Lego books are worth getting, especially at this price.

Just gone ahead and purchased this book as well (£2.85 if you have a student card). Will keep it back for a while until my son has worked through his other book (Lego Ideas). Thank you.

I am sorry but NO it does not - it is falsely advertised!

See I am pretty much 99.999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% sure that all of the ideas contained within said book will utilise more than a single brick, meaning that if you have just one brick in your hand, you can build diddly squat, besides a microscopic house or projectile to throw at someone.

... I have just one Lego brick in my hand or nearby at the moment, a single lego head in fact, so cold! ;)

(Only joking - voted hot but the claim is ridiculous! lol :D )

I could build a log cabin out of wood, with a brick in my hand. No one said you had to use it.
