The set isn't that big but it has a lot of parts and really good fun to put together. I've spent just over 2 hours and only half way there lol

Was £80 at Asda before Christmas - but still a very good deal. I bought it from Asda and finally got around to building it at the weekend...it looks very cool when finished.
#6
Very nice set to build and well designed. My only complaint would be that the top/middle section just sits on the main body so tends to wobble slightly. I would have liked it to be attached to the main body somehow.

Was £60 in Debenhams few days ago, so hardly a deal.

any proof of this as lowest i've ever seen is £80 and that was from Asda and Amazon.

It is listed online at debenhams at £60 but is out of stock. I wonder how people got it at that price. Just because it has been available at £60 ( for a very limited period) and at £80
Does not mean it is not a deal at £90. May or may not be cheaper than that in the future.

Petrol was 50p a Litre back in 1995, it's now 'down' to £1.06 or there about.
If my Tardis worked I'd fill up in the past, as it doesn't we can only go on the merits of a deal today.

By actually replying, you have disproven that statement.

right. tell us where you can buy it for cheaper right now. debenham online deal was out of stock for as long as I can remember. Unless you were lucky enough to find one at your local store recently, this is the best price right now. my local debenham doesn't even sell any Lego pfft.

That's because you've only gone back to 2004.

£119 now on Amazon, although Tesco Direct still have it at £90

P.S. The bickering that goes on this site is pointless. :)

Didn't u ere Im? He ain't bovvered

laughable really,arguing over lego !!!!
#24
I'm not seeing the bickering or arguing, I just see friendly banter

Since when does the cheapest price around at the moment make it a deal?
If the only place that had stock wanted £150 would that still be a deal as the cheapest current price?

don't take it out of context. RRP on this is £119 and the cheapest it has ever been on Amazon was £80. £90 isn't too far off. no one is saying it's deal because it's the cheapest right now at ridiculously high price!
#27
frankly I don't even understand why BenderRodriguez is stirring the pot when he recently posted lego x wing deal which is no where near its best ever price of £119.99 on Amazon. So he thinks that's a deal but this isn't? I call double standard

£36 on Debenhams now... maybe someone will get lucky at that price if they find 1 lying out the back.

Ordered mine from flubit, they offered £80.97. Although the have a habit of cancelling my orders as they take so long to process and dispatch it goes oos.

I got mine from Flubit for £71.36p when Amazon had it for £80. They cancelled my friends order but they said they cancelled mine but they found a supplier so I actually got mine.

Back in stock.

£90 is reasonable for a load of plastic bricks ?
#36
Some people have been getting it from toys r us for £36 as they price match. The one in warrington won't price match as it's oos but some others may??? All over the lego sites on FB x
#37
It has to be one of the most boring looking Lego sets. Thousands of grey bricks.

I don't even think its impressive when built.

You would have to be very lucky to find a store to price match on something that's not even in stock especially when you are trying to price match against such a low price.

£90 for bloody plastic bricks. What happened to Lego, it used to be so simple.
