Not in clerance, not a yellow label price cut. Normal white label price on toys shelf. Found in Newbury store. I know it's Tesco :) but maybe someone else will find some too...

There hasn't been any Falcons in my local since Christmas so I guess your store may have found an odd one lurking in the store room

Just what I was going to say, there have been none of these sets in my local for months.

Market positioning, and large slice of license fee to George Lucas when its Star Wars. It is expensive but that's why I use HUKDs!

No they are not kidding, grow up and learn something instead of being a small minded little biggot.

Too many people on here like this person above.

£64 is a brilliant price, not that many will get a chance to find one. Heat added, wish I could afford one, just cannot justify paying that on Lego in my 30's :D

I'd rather 100 of him than 1 of you. Why attack somebody for such a light-hearted comment?

So the mods let **** like this get hot and so obvious it's old stock and extremely store specific! Oh and it's Tescos AGAIN

Although I do think his comment is a bit daft I think calling him a Bigot is a bit too far. Maybe he is a Lego hating bigot after some childhood trauma, or more likely he is just a bit of a troll.

it's more an investment not just a toy ...
#20
Possibly too late for the investment. Should have bought it when they were £500 in 2006! Selling for £1200 on ebay second hand!
£64 for the Falcon is an excellent price by the way. Keep it for a few years - would love to know what they could go for then if they don't release another one. I bought 4 from Argos for £60 (using codes). Offer over now though. Hoping the get the usual 50% investment in a years time.

£2k and it isn't actually an accurate model! I don't remember the Falcon looking like it was made out of lego!

Lego star wars is great mind and I'd love it if the set posted was £64 in my local Tesco...I doubt it though...:(

Wow!
For that kind of price (the one on amazon) I'd expect it to be scaled to the figurine's sizes accurately!
But that's off topic, heat for the rare find in Tesco!

There's a used one for £1200 plus £12 postage...........
#24
Very very good price, good luck to anyone hoping to find one, you'll have a bargain on your hands as the rrp is about £130. They've been reduced like crazy recently so perhaps it's going out of production?

It's a legitimate set - it's a UCS (Ultimate Collectors Series) set. Have a look on http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/LEGO_Wiki.

At any price, this is Hot! I'm too old to buy it, but I want one!!!!!
#27
Does any body know how many bags you get in this set? As I may be buying from a local shop the box is opened and contains 3 bags numbered 1,3 bags
Numbered 2, there's 2 bags numbered 3,3 bags numbered 4 and 2 bags numbered 5 is this correct? Ive had a look at the manual and it don't make quite sense
Thx

Wow! a little harsh, I don't think that being surprised at the price of Lego calls for such a personal attack. Have you always been a bully?

So... therudders, let me get this right.

You make a fairly facile remark about the price of Lego - in a thread about Lego, and at the discounted price a not particularly expensive set either. Stepp replies to you and at the same time defends most of the people genuinely interested in this thread, and for his trouble he gets this delightful comment:

I'd rather 100 of him than 1 of you.

Which 13 people liked enough that this is the first thing that hits you as soon as you look at this deal... And you're saying he's a bully?? That's pretty hypocritical.

I thought this was supposed to be a site about finding and sharing bargains, not make comments designed to troll or provoke other site members.

I made a comment about the price of a lego set in a lego thread and I am called a small minded little biggot, and you don't think that is being a bully? you're as bad as he is mate.

People like you should not be allowed to post comments that attack others!

We just completed the one my son got for Christmas... I think that's correct - I'll check later.
Lego's too expensive at rrp but if you can find this set at this price it's a good deal - there are a lot of pieces and the finished thing looks good. My biggest gripe about Lego is the misleadingly large size of the boxes - pretty much every box could be half to 2/3rds the size they are... perceived value - pah!

None in Tesco Kingston Park (Newcastle) - checked yesterday as this would have been a great one to put away towards our son christmas presents.

The comments from steps and grj to the rudders were offensive and unnecessary -show some respect. If someone disagrees with your opinion or makes an innocent comment it does not make them a bigot. I had voted this hot but would not dream of calling someone a bigot or attacking them if they made a negative comment.Just remember HUKD is a site to help people and not for bullying.
