LEGO Technic Mercedes-Benz Arocs 42043

Seems to be about £160 elsewhere.

Climb aboard the awesome Mercedes-Benz Arocs 3245! This huge, robust, 2-in-1 LEGO® Technic model is packed with authentic details and features.

Turn on the included Power Functions large motor and engage the advanced pneumatic system (new for fall 2015) for complete control over an array of exciting motorized functions.

You can operate the ultra-versatile crane arm mechanism, open and close the grabber, extend the outriggers or raise and lower the tipper body! Twin axle steering, double differential drive and fully independent suspension provide ultimate maneuverability, and the driver’s cab tilts to reveal a detailed 6-cylinder engine with moving pistons.

Open the cab doors to access the detailed interior with dashboard, blue seating and steering wheel with Mercedes-Benz logo. This meticulously detailed 2015 model also features an extendable crane arm, 4 suspended axles, double wheels on the 2 rear axles, opening tailgate, warning beacons, wing mirrors and comprises 2753 elements, making it the largest LEGO Technic model ever produced.

An authentic white, gray and black color scheme and iconic 3-pointed Mercedes-Benz star add the finishing touches to this impressive model.

When you feel like another building challenge, rebuild it into the rugged Mercedes-Benz Articulated Construction Truck.

Great price at the Mo but £82 just before Christmas. Sons just finished building and it's a really good set with lots of motorised and compressor functions.

seems expensive after I myself getting it for 82

I got it for £82 also, but only built it last week. It is a very engaging build and very satisfying when you try all the motorised features and they work (I put the tipper bed piston on upside down and spent 30 mins disassembling, correcting and reassembling oO).

I have just made the B model from Lego's online instructions - well worth a go as it makes a really good build too.
Is more different than the pics show

Was for a very brief period £82 plus 1000 Clubcard point so effectively £62 if points doubled up.

I use my points @ Redspottedhankey so 1000 points worth £19 to me (after £1 booking fee) so I effectively paid £62 or £60.64 after TCB.

£55 cheaper than the official lego site is still a decent discount. This is not currently available any cheaper elsewhere. Heat added.

Heat added,

Heat from me - good price. Unless the alternative build for this set is a time machine, comparing it to a pre-Christmas price that lasted just a few days seems pretty pointless.
#9
Fair enough it might be the lowest price currently available, but at 50% more than the price it was in December I think I'll wait.

not really pointless if people know it can/has gone down cheaper. Just because it's the lowest at the moment doesn't mean it is a hot deal. Although for this particular deal it's not so bad.

With respect if people always wait until an item is at it's absolute lowest of all time there would be a lot less postings on this site and the retailers would have us buying what they wanted when they wanted.

Yes it has been lower however for someone who didn't get it then or wants it now the past prices aren't really helpful.

I understand your point and I really hope that it goes back to £82 but at the minute this is the best new price in the UK.

I bought it at the £82 price b4 Christmas ! Had to send it back as the box was damaged, the seals were broken and motor/ battery pack was opened. ! Obviously a returned item not new at all ! So I returned it as it was supposed to be a gift. ! They could not replace it so only a refund was offered. ! I wonder what the others who bought at that price got ?

Heat from me. This seems to be the oldest large technic kit you can get. They don't seem to be around for long before TLG retire them. Amazon have had them on for cheaper too but they were single day deals i missed. I've been waiting for this to reduce again.

Fab thanks OP.
