LEGO fans will love building this fantastic LEGO Technic motorized excavator! It also rebuilds into an amazing tracked loader so the fun will never stop! This is a great set for developing construction skills and encouraging imaginative play.

Excellent price for this set considering it's complexity and features. Stock levels are fairly low but I have managed to find a few in and around Bristol and Weston-super-Mare

I really dig this!

I hope I'm not the only person over 30 with one of these...

OMG!!! That blows away the one I built many years ago! Damn if only the boy was older I could use him as the excuse for buying it!

I'm sure you're not, I'm so close to joining you, but I don't think my bank account can take it! :(

My brother bought me a Technic bike for Crimble, I'm over 40. Considering this. Hot.

I want that, and I want it bad.

I VERY VERY nearly bought this yesterday in Argos (And still might!)
It's a very good deal as you also get the motor set too which is normally £30 on its own.
It's also possible to build this set into what Lego refer to as a "B model" - See http://technic.lego.com/en-gb/BuildingInstructions/default.aspx#8043 group for more info...
Oh and I'm 39 and so nothing wrong in having stuff like this at our age!! ;) (I use my 8 year old son as the excuse)

Thank the heavens that the Argos site says I am eligible to have one -
* Batteries required: 6 x AA (not included).
* For ages 12 years and over...

...as I DO have 6 AA batteries and am over 12 years of age, indeed WAY OVER. All I have to do now is make sure that there's enough left from my pension to eat and my wife doesn't use it to bury me for buying it. ;)

Would this be suitable for light weeding and tidying gravel?
