Hot. How does it compare to a Merlin pass?

Standard Merlin: Family of 3, 4 or 5,Up to 3 adults £105.30pp (Online price) with some restrictions
Premium Merlin without restrictions and complimentary parking: £129.60pp

So considerably more expensive but not Legoland only....

Seems good, the tickets would be this price for a single day pass if you pay at the gate

Is there any entry restrictions when using this pass during the summer holidays?

Legoland is rubbish and over rated. I wouldn't go there again if Merlin paid me!

Awesome timing, thanks. We were planning on going to LegoLand and wanted to go for two days, now we can have as many days as we want for just about the same money. Makes a big difference for a family of five! We live in West London so it's just a short hope, and it's better for our kids ages (7-9) than Thorpe Park. Really appreciate the post!

Brilliant. My son loves Legoland last time we went but didn't have enough time for all the rides' this is perfect. Thanks op

How much are merlin passes and is it worth paying extra for them if you live in London? Any deals on Merlin passes around? Cheers

It seems there are many days, annual pass holders are not allowed to visit. Including all August and half July. I may be reading something wrong though, worth checking.

    UPDATE:
This condition was valid for standard passes, the one in offer is premium. No blackout dates.
Just bought them. I live 2 miles away, I guess worth it.

Had our first visit to Legoland a few weeks ago for half term, our son loved it, and we enjoyed it too.

However, we live in Newcastle, so as good a bargain as this is, we wouldn't get enough use to justify it, as a trip to Windsor isn't just a 'day out' for us, and we'd need to add at least a night or two accommodation, and travel costs for any visit.

If we lived closer, it'd be a no-brainer.

Do the passes have names on, or could you purchase this, and let other use them?

    Heat Added.

    Just bought 2, thanks OP!

It didn't ask for names (other than mine to pay for) so I assume that other people can use.

actually, it turns out that you have to collect your pass from the park itself. The passes have photos on them so you won't be able to let someone else use.

When you are buying it doesn't ask for names however, if you read the instructions on the voucher you receive, you will need to print the voucher, take there, and it will be changed to a photo ID card there. So, cards are not transferrable.
