Hi this is for all the poor parents of little girls who are desperate for Lelli Kelly shoes!!! Usually retailing at £37-42, for me with lots of girlies they are way too expensive.
Today I was a Cribbs Causeway, and they had reduced all the Lelli Kellys that were out to £25.
Signs up all around the store said buy any 2 sale shoes and get 25% off the cheapest pair.
This included kids Crocs (reduced to £15) Adults Crocs £24 and all the other Clarks and Startrite etc. Lots of bargains.
I bought 2 of my daughters Lelli Kelly's with the Make Up Phone, these cost £43.75.
(This may sound terrible to other parents, but for Lelli Kellys it is pretty good!)
1 pair was £25 the second £18.75
My daughters were really pleased and excited as I had (foolishly) promised them some months ago.....
All sizes and more out the back.

The website has them for £25 but not the buy 2 deal, FREE postage as over £20. Still not bad for these shoes. All the ones on the website are £25 instore! But online they have 2 styles that are £20 and £17.50!!!

Good old HUKD. Cold votes. This is a good price, jut because you don't want them isn't a reason to vote cold.

Smallest size is a 25 which I think is a UK 7. My daughters have an 11 (has size 29) a 12 (has size 31) and a 1.5 (now has size 34-from the website!).

Hi! Glad to help!, the sales assistant told me that you can make them last longer by taking out the insole this gives more growing room! Obviously people who have forked out for them want the to last as long as possible!

They had 28 instore, so it might be worth seeing if there are any shops near you. (or if your desperate trying a 27 with the insole out or a 29 with an extra insole under the Lelli Kelly insole- my 4 yr old is a 10.5, so I got the 29 (11) and we put an extra insole. This is what the sales assistant did.) I want them to last forever......
#16
My four year olds been wanting a pair of these for ages, guess I have no excuse not to get her a pair now!

This thread is making me very scared. I've two young girls who I know will be wanting things like this soon - I'm trying to keep them on CBeebies for as long as possible but they seem to want NickJr now and watch enthralled when the ads come on.

Not voted hot or cold as I'm trying to pretend it will never be relevant to me.

So to make them last longer you make them less comfortable? Got any other great idea's to hurt your child's feet so you can save a few quid?
#19
Ohhhhh :-D Even I get excited over Lelli Kelly's, and im a man :p

Gonna buy a few pairs for my daughter, she has only one pair at the minute and she loves them

I don't even have NickJr!! We only have Cbeebies and CBBC!!! Unfortunately with 4 girls the Lelli Kellys have magically infiltrated...... Avoided it with DD1 for a few years (she is 7) as quite simply tooooooo expensive. However, her 3 year wait has apparantly been worthwhile:p

Obviously you have not looked inside them. Mine were shop fitted by a trained fitter, who put the extra insole in under the Lelli Kelly insole. (Not my idea) AND AS MY DAUGHTER WAS A 10.5 AND NOT QUITE A 28 OR A 29 SHE TRIED THE SMALLER SIZE WITHOUT THE LELLI KELLY INSOLE. WITHOUT IT IT IS STILL A NORMAL SHOE AND HAS A NORMAL BASE, JUST NOT THE LELLI KELLY SPECIAL GEL INSERT. She decided that the larger size with the extra insole fitted her best. These shoes are like a Doodle or trainer with a fancy insole and spakly bits sewn on.
Please don't imply I am advising people try to hurt their kids feet. I take my kids shoe fitting very seriously which is why my younger children were shop fitted!!!! And I know exactly the size to buy my other daughter online as she tried them on instore with a fitter last month.
I was simply trying to help others using the advise given to me by the Clinkard Trained Fitter. And this was the same info I got from Jones Bootmaker last month when we tried to buy a full price pair from Jones, but they did not have DD3's size.

God Savagenixen keep your hair on!!! :)
I care about my kids feet too but think these shoes look tacky and very uncomfortable. You shouldn't have to fit a gel sole to a good shoe.

And people are probably voting cold due to the most annoying advert EVER......

Hi Leona, I know I was a quite cross!!! But he had just publicly accused me of suggesting people do bad things to their kids feet, and this is wrong and I wasn't. I think they look tacky too, in fact pretty foul. (Mainly why I didn't buy them before) I have only got them because I have made my daughters very happy (and I 'encouraged' them to choose the least foul!) My 4 yr old slept with them next to her pillow, so that made it worth it!
As far as the comfort, they are exactly the same as Doodles. A very basic trainer/mary jane style canvas shoe. With lots of beads and sequins. The insert is a Gel insole, which is supposed to keep feet cool and can be washed in the machine for freshness and odour combat. The shoe can be worn comfortably without the insole. And because they are bog standard they are quite comfy, just like Doodles (but 18 times the price!)
I am under no illusion that these are the best shoes. My kids often have insoles in their Clarks shoes, as they have quite narrow feet (apart from the little one). These shoes are really nothing but a gimmick with a rubbish toy, however, if you have a little girl who loves them and thinks they are great then you might make their day!!!
And really don't mind if people vote cold, they are annoying adverts, I just wanted to help some other parents that might be under pressure to buy some!

Thank you so much for this your post is really appreciated as my 4yr old daughter has been mithering for ages for a pair but I wasn't paying £40. Am going to take her to the Trafford Centre to choose some.

Savagenixen - Reading back regarding what you said about taking out the insole to make the shoes last longer really didn't go down well i suppose :) Obviously the insole is there for a reason and i know that if my insoles come away then you can get glue/nails/lumpy parts sticking in your foot making your shoes very uncomfortable and certainly not great for a kids foot.

They are overly priced and my little girl is not getting a pair, I'd rather buy Doodles any day.

IMO the insole is there so that Lelli Kelly manufacturers can charge £++++ for their exclusive insole!:-D If you take it out it looks like a Doodle:thinking: It was the sales assistant that said that as their feet grow you can take the insole out and carry on wearing them. There is no glue or nails or anything, it is just an ordinary basic shoe base, same as all their Doodles exactly, so no harm could come to their feet. (Think a Doodle that is fitted with an insole, that as you child grows you take the insole out-have to do this quite a lot with narrow feet)
LOL if I could post a picture I would. I am really not suggesting that your children wear shoes with no insides :
I admire your choice. We had to move and changed the kids schools/pre-schools serveral times, and as a special treat asked them what they would like for being so good. 2 of them said Lelli Kelly's, I said fine, took them shopping and nearly had a heart attack!!!!!:-D £40 a pair and the gaudiest thing ever!!!! So I managed to 'fob' them of for a few months, yesterday the sale meant I could get them some for little more than the cost of 1 air, so i fulfilled my promise, and the kids are so happy.
Little one has just said 'Mummy I love these shoes and I want to wear them everyday'. Now it's just the battle for the 'Daisy' school shoes...

Leona,
you obviously didnt take the time to read saveagevixen's reply or chose to ignore it.

The insoles are an OPTIONAL item and the shoe is designed to be used with or without them. I should know as my brother is Sales manager for the UK distributor.

This is a great price for a shoe that I know kids ADORE and that is a quality product, made with a huge amount of R&D effort to ensure the highest safety standards (again with or without insole!). Hence, its good to see the sales training has filtered down to assistants in the store as mentioned. Excellent.

We can argue all day about the merits of kids buying into brands at a young age, the terrible consumer society we live in, etc.

Bottom line - this place is for posting HOT deals. This is such a deal IMHO. They are overpriced IYHO. But then I am sure you would claim the same for Nike's, D&G Jeans, Brabantia bins, BMW's, Duresta furniture, .... Do you own anything along these lines where you have perceived to pay a "premium"?

Its a freemarket. You are free to choose your Doodles, and I am sure your kids will thank you for that.

Peace....
Mark

Just ordered a pair for my Daughter thanks, Her last pair were bought from ebay second hand and they were huge!...not sure if all lelli kelly shoes are that big..but the second hand pair were very big compared to her Clarks shoes
#29
They are quite big! I will say though, having now had a good look at them they seem fairly robust and well made. I have had 2 pairs of Doodles relaced in the last 6 weeks, one child's had the edging come away and another was (yet another for me:x) bad fit. At least they replace them.
I will say though with 5 kids I think I am a better fitter than some of the incompetent fitters at my local Clarks;-) Sorry any decent Clarks fitters, but I have had some really bad ones recently....

Anyway the Lelli Kelly's are pricey, but they are well made!

Yes! And on the whole they are aged about 8 and under!!!:-D It's one of those things that little girls see and want, and will remember as adults 'I always wanted those shoes when I was little'. I just am greatful to have been able to do it this once and absolutely make their day:-DShame my son isn't so easily pleased, he 'just' wants a PS3:w00t:

I think £24.00 is cheap for Lelli kelly shoes, my Daughter is 4 and she loves all things pink, glittery and girly....I did too at that age but my Parents weren't as fortunate as me financially and I never got to wear the real girly stuff lol...just glad my Daughter can.....:)
#35
I took my daughter to the Trafford Centre to get some Lelli Kelly shoes they had plenty in stock in lots of sizes but no mobile phone gifts so I had her fitted to get the correct size and have now ordered them over the internet at the same price with the free gift. The sales assistant said there were no gifts left that was why they were cheap!!! I corrected her and said the price was exactly the same online with the free mobile phone.

Thought I would post to save anybody else a trip there.

I have to agree. I bought some for my friend's daughter for her 4th and 5th birthdays.

She absolutely loves them (and anything pink and girly), and I know that she will enjoy the present until her feet grow too big, but the roomy sizes mean she gets a bit more out of each present.

I'm buying her some for her next Christmas present.

I paid £37 for the ones for her last birthday, so this price is great.

I got 2 of mine instore, and they did have the gifts!!! (Cribbs Causeway) But that was on Thursday, and I have to say there is not much lipgloss left, it has been applied many times to both the lips and the eyes!! and the plastic casing on the phone has fallen apart many times!!! The shoes are still going to bed next to the pillow :-D
