Ok, not much of a deal as you can't watch blu-rays on it, but you CAN eat it whilst watching them LOL. Seriously though, these taste excellent (no plastic Jif lemon taste) and i'm damn fussy about meringue. They're even better than the old Sara Lee frozen ones and best of all they're ready to eat, no waiting for them to defrost. Vote cold if you want, i'm off the eat the rest of it :-p

not gonna vote cold, but I bought one of these the other day and it was way too pastry-heavy for me. Worth £1.09, but if I was gonna pay full price I'd rather pay an extra quid on top of that for an M&S one, which is leagues ahead of this. Meringue is OK though, as the OP says.

But like a tramp playing your favourite song on a cardboard guitar in a shop doorway, it's worth throwing a quid at.

great suggestion - I'd get the comedy value, and he'd still eat the pie which would be better for him than giving him the money to waste on booze.

BUT on the box it gives cooking instructions and doesn't actually state that it can be eaten straight from the packet!

Hmmm, you're right. Hot meringue though? What sort of satanic abomination is that??? By the way, i'm still alive after eating it cold so it's all good :giggle:

I put me pie on the table, lobbed one of me old blu-rays on top of it and I'm sat here right now watching it. You obviously don't know what you're talking about shengis!

Voted hot by the way, though I eat it cold.
