I'm in exactly the same position myself, been bad with flu etc since christmas day and still not feeling that much better now, i'm hoping tomorrow will be a good day:)

And all I have left are lemon lemsips and I absolutely detest those things. Mine is just kicking off today, so I probably have another few days of misery to go through :? Hope you feel better soon crazyhorse :)
#7
Lemsip is the one I always use and I don't mind the taste of them either. Luckily haven't needed any for a couple of years :) So far ;-)

Thanks for this sheps :pirate:

Ha! I NEVER get a cold or flu.
Not for last 10 years anyway.
Must be all the fags I smoke.:)

I have had a rotten cold too. I used Night Nurse tablets and some cough medicine. I find that the hot drinks work, but only when you catch the cold at the starting stage
#12
Hehe at the size of it :) Perhaps they meant inches :pirate:

wow, good spot. That was the first question I thought of and when
I couldn't find the info on their web page, I started to feel a bit wary.
Even now, I've looked at the Ts & Cs on thier promotion page and I
still can't find that size info.
#15
I know it says 50x60cms but it cant be that small can it?
someone let me know when you get it thanks
#16
I thought exactly the same thing as you asdfgh, so I ordered one anyway, whats the worst that can happen.

I think they mean that's the size when it's "received" i.e. sent in the package.
#19
I have emailed them to ask the size as it don't sound right

50cm x 60cm is not in my books a blanket
#20
I think razbox is right, the mailing size is probably 50cm x 60cm

#24
why have I got a red and a blue rep attached to this post? Whats that all about?
#25
ok worked it out it means this is a negatrive post.....

golly catty bunch on here aint you LOL

Think some people nead to think first act later maybe. Never come across such a negative site before, at least there is some good guys around this site too to make up for the others. By the way it really doesn't bother me, just new to how this site works although I have watched deals for ages before I joined.

50cms is half a meter or 20 inches... can't see that being the shipping size, more like the actual size of "the blanket". I mean, I have dusters bigger than that.

I hope you guys aren't too disappointed with your purchase. Maybe... you could donate them to a local pygmy family, who could use them as full size blankets :giggle: Certainly cheered me up from the scamleys debacle.

No but if it was a full size blanket surely if you folded up a few times like they show it would be 50 x 60 cm - well i hoping that is the shipping size cos if not they can have it straight back!!!:x
#28
Just ordered 8! :D Just incase you need to stitch a few together!

But was it just me, or did everyone get an out of office reply from Carrie Wilson after their PayPal receipt?!
#29
The size info is point 9 in the T&Cs as below

It doesn't say it's for people so could be a nice bright cat blanket though :giggle:

Still a good find

I must admit, I did have a look at getting one of these. But................
when I filled out the form it would not let me continue until I ticked the box which accepted SPAM/possible texts/possible emails/posible junk mail etc from them.
I entered a litle used email address and was then redirected to "their" paypal link. Firstly i was presented with a windows/explorer message indicating that the log in site was open to public broadcast (something I normally do not worry about too much) - But the I noticed that the LEMSIP/PAYPAL login page was not secure.

I know that it's only a fiver, but it's what else could go missing fro my paypal account that worried me.
I am a regular paypal/fleabayer but this one just felt a little strange.

Did anybody else find the whole thing a little suspect?

I have decided to give this one a miss, but hope you all get your blankies ;-) (blankets/hankies).

As stupid as this sounds, even though I have just bought a few, I am with you Skanky!

I do find it all a bit strange, but we shall see!

Fingers crossed I'll have a slither of material to hide under until this blows over! :D Oh, but that would mean I would have to have had them delivered! lol
#32
T8,
I wouldn't worry too much - it's probably me been a little too suspicious :-)
#33
Not at all, I didn't even notice any of what you said!

Can't be too suspicious nowadays with all this modern technology malarky! :D

I saw "Limited Edition" and the Pokemon saying of "GOTTA CATCH THEM ALL!" pops into my head! So I go "BUY BUY BUY!" lol

But the most annoying thing is, I don't like Pokemon! :D

I know it is no scam because the link is from an email sent to me that came straight from the company.
I also believe everyone will be happy when the blanket arrives because I ordered big good quality blankets this year (as xmas pressies) from another source, anyway I messured the package one of them arrived in this morning and it was bigger than 50cm x 60cm. So if it is a quality blanket I believe this is a reasonable package size.
#35
Oh I am resistered with lemsip and they send me the odd freebie
#36
I think your right it will be the size of the package:thumbsup:
#37
thanks sheps, i'm ordered, - maybe 2 weeks late for us!! but it'l to do for us
many thanks

I think we are agreed 50x60cm is the size of the packet it arrives in. I have emailed them for the size of the blanket, but it must be a reasonable size to 1- be describbed as a luxury blanket and 2- be delivered in a 50x60 packet. There is going to a few complaints if not I suspect.

I'm sorry but if I was ill last thing I would want to curl up with is a fluorescent yellow blanket....It hurts my eyes!
