Saw this on the Lenovo Outlet website, and seems a decent deal, for a 10" tablet that generally gets very good reviews. There is a KitKat (4.4.2) update for it you can download as well.

See the link in my first comment - and that will take you to the item on the Lenovo Outlet website. I don't think the link in this original post works because the HUKD affiliate link changes something.

Here's all the blurb:

The Lenovo A10-70 gives you an amazing video watching experience, without staying at home. Watch your favourite movies on the go with a 10.1-inch wide HD display and Dolby enhanced dual front speakers. The responsive quad-core processor ensures smooth video playback all day long. If you love movies, this is the tablet for you.

5-Point Multi-Touch Display

Enjoy greater accuracy with the 5-point multi-touch, HD (1,200 x 800) IPS display. Easily share files, photos, videos and more with tablet-style display with easy scroll and zoom functions. This innovative screen is sensitive and easy to use, making typing easier and offering a responsive gaming experience.

Quad-Core Processor

The Lenovo A10-70 features a powerful MTK 8121 quad-core processor, allowing you to enjoy fast web-browsing, responsive apps and seamless downloads.

Android 4.2 Jelly Bean

Sleek, smart and full of innovative features, the Lenovo A10-70 is equipped with Google Android 4.2 "Jelly Bean" operating system, which features improved multi-tasking performance, more reactive touch responses, Photo Sphere, gesture typing keyboard, Google Now with more cards and a redesigned camera app. Android 4.2 also offers faster orientation changes, quicker switching between recent apps, and smoother and more consistent rendering across the system through vsync and triple buffering.

Ultra-Thin. Ultra-Light. Ultra-Responsive.

Fast Memory and SSD Storage

On the Lenovo A10-70 you'll find up to 2GB of fast DDR3L memory and 16GB eMMC storage that is expandable to 32GB with SD card, to help you access your files much faster than traditional hard drives, allowing faster application loading, as well as reduced start-up and shut-down times.

Dolby Digital Plus Audio

Listening to music, films and games on your Lenovo A10-70 tablet will never be the same. With Dolby Digital Plus and two front-facing speakers, you can experience riveting surround sound on your tablet. Dolby Digital Plus technology enables the Lenovo A10-70 to deliver a crisp, clear cinematic surround sound experience over its built-in speakers. It also adds clarity to sound from headphones.

Front and Rear Cameras

Take your web chats to the next level thanks to the built-in 2 MP front-facing webcam and 5 MP fixed-focus rear camera. Your friends and family will be able to see you in clear resolution, which means the picture will look good even on a large TV screen. The webcam also has enhanced low light capabilities, which means you'll always be looking your best whatever the lighting conditions.

Connectivity and Security

Wi-Fi and Bluetooth

The Lenovo A10-70 comes with multiple wireless connection options. The built-in 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi adapter will allow you to enjoy reliable connections to the internet, while Bluetooth 4.0 makes it easier to connect and share files with other devices.

GPS That Works Offline

Finding your way around the city is easy with the Lenovo A10-70, which includes satellite-controlled GPS to guide you accurately, even when you don’t have an internet connection.

Long-lasting Battery Life

The Lenovo A10-70 comes equipped with a long-life 6340 mAh Li-Po battery, so you can get the most out of your Lenovo A10-70 between charges. With Wi-Fi connected, you will be able to enjoy up to eight hours of online productivity and entertainment on-the-go before it needs to be topped up. Standby time is up to 50 hours.

Aren't we all, but we're not going to find them for £139 unfortunately!

Nice, but if a 10" screen isnt vital, then I would also consider the HUDL 2 :)
#5
I think 2gb of ram is more needed than a ten inch screen.
#6
is it 1 GB or 2 GB ??

Yep, that's a very good windows tablet (if you'd rather have windows than android). Plenty of bang for your buck for about £150. How does the screen compare to this one, given they are the same resolution?

I hope it's better than my bloody awful Lenovo A2109 tablet which stutters along with Tegra 3 and quite possibly the worst screen ever implemented.

If I said it was a well made "bag of sh*t" that would be a compliment.....

I still use it to watch videos but it's horrendous for anything else.

I would not be so sure. The screen is going to show clearly visible pixel, and the MediaTek CPU is a bit of a mixed bag. They are infamous for not releasing drivers for Android updates. I would give this a miss.

Hardware wise the Linx 10 seems to be clearly superior. Whether you want to deal with Windows is another question...

I've got this tablet and it's been fantastic for me. However it's effectively been this price or less previously considering it was in the Lenovo cashback deal when I got mine. Was a great upgrade for me from my Samsung tab 2 and 10inch is the sweet-spot size in my eyes for tablets.

Yes, you can get better than HD screen for this price as long as you are prepared to order from China. The Cube Talk 9x is one of the best tablets you can get and costs about the same as this. It has the same screen res as the ipad Air and a much faster processor than the Lenovo. Way better than this in almost every way.
#15
That's true, but some people (or should that be "many") don't like ordering from China/HK....etc. Its a bit of a trade off...UK/EU warranty & returns vs potentially having to return an item to China if something goes wrong (also, I'm not sure you'd get much joy from any of the Amazon marketplace resellers if you purchase through there!). As you say though, the Cube is a cracking piece of kit, and blows the Lenovo out of the water.

1280x800 and android 4.2 isn't great tbh.
#17
I thought I'd remind people of this as it's still available for a tenner more.

Son got this with the keyboard for £1 60 . I've got to say it's excellent and actually got him doing homework on time!

I've just bought this tablet off amazon deals for 99 pound :-)

wonder if these are getting lollipop?

i've got a nexus 7 2013 and fancy an upgrade but i really wouldn't like to go back to Jelly Bean now. Uptake to Lollipop seems very slow.
