Lenovo A2 10-70

This is the full HD 1920 x 1200 model with 2gb ram. Similar price to the lower A10-30 model with the lower screen resolution and half the ram.

Well worth £129 for the screen size and display alone.

Great deal in my view.

I bought this to give as gift for only £ 99 from Argos 2 months ago. Good tablet.

£99? For this actual model? You sure it wasn't the lower one you bought, 10-30 model?

Got this tablet earlier in the year from John Lewis for £110. Ok so it's a little more expensive here but I still think it's well worth it at this price. Fabulous screen and great battery life. I can't really fault it. Go for it!

It has marshmallow update?

got it for this price a week ago with a 20 off code, took it back due to a well known wireless problem, shame as screen/sound/speed all good, but could not live with it dropping out all the time, worth a go at this price, you can always return as I did (the chap at Tesco said he had 3 returned that day!)

forgot to mention mine came with lollipop 5.0.1, don't expect any other updates, only bought this as unable to get a K1 at present, voted hot by the way as the wireless does not affect everyone

I bought one via Tesco the other week for the same price after £20 off code (now expired). No wireless issues, out the box it was Lollipop and then 2 or 3 system updates straight away - seem to remember wireless fixes being mentioned so make sure you do all the available system updates before you think about returning. I doubt it will ever get past 5.1 but with Google disaggregation of apps from the releases then the advantages of v6 MM and v7 N get less. Great battery life and performance. screen is nice, mSD expansion. Great 10" android tablet if this is your preferred form factor.

Mine had wireless drop out initially but after installing updates no further problems at all.

What's a K1?.

Is that the Nivada Shield by any chance?, or .....

Bought this for my 8 year old son a couple of months ago from John Lewis on a price match with Tesco at £129. Added bonus of two year guarantee with JL.

Bought one while ago but sent it back. The screen quality was awful and DID NOT look HD at all. Also slow and stuttery.

Had mine for about six months replaced a Samsung tab 2 . The screen is great it is so much faster than the Samsung and the battery life is very good mine came with lollipop out of box. Never had WiFi issues never drops out. I don't understand any negatives with screen quality, I must be easily pleased or impressed with what I got for the money but then I'm not comparing it to an overpriced iPad, I have recommended to others.

cheers for this, just bought another 2. Bought one about 3 months ago and loved it and was waiting for it to come down to get the wife and son one. heat added good find.

i got 1 beginning of the year, its a good tab, but i think the sound output is far too low compared to other tabs/phones i have had.

I ordered one tonite, it had been £150 earlier today

A which magazine best buy

I got one of these last year just specifically for using Kodi and it's great, not to mention the fantastic screen. I also use it for browsing sometimes when the old iPad is charging and I would highly recommend it, especially at this price :D

That's strange, 3 other people in this thread say they have one and the screen is great

Sure it wasn't the A10-30, if it was this model the A10-70 then there was something wrong with yours.

Never had a wifi problem, UI smooth as butter, screen matches my iPad Air retina display for quality.

The guys who got it cheaper than this have got the 1280x800 version. There is no way this has ever been that cheap.

The 109.99 is not the full HD 10-70 model. Argos price is 149.99.

I don't have one of these but cant complain at the price given the specs if you must have 10". Hot.

Got mine for £103 from Amazon on Prime day (with trial prime membership) after missing £99 deal in Argos. Definitely 2GB RAM version and never had problems with WiFi.

Even John Lewis did an offer of £110 for a brand new one with 2 years guarantee earlier this year, can't see why this is hot but do agree £129 is well worth it though.

I bought this model a fee months ago from the Tesco deal and after updating it found the sound quality became very poor and as other people mentioned the wifi was flakey so I returned it.
Last week I bought the Argos A10-30 with the lower resolution screen for £98 but it has 2gb ram and a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and not the Mediatek like in the Tesco version so fingers crossed it will be more likely to be updated past the current Android 5.1.1.
Also the live broadcasts on the iPlayer app works flawlessly on this model but was flakey on the 10-70

The current Argos price for this model is £149.99: http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4123691.htm

Compared to the cheaper A10-30 the A10-70 has a higher resolution display of 1920x1200 and a faster CPU.

It's funny on here sometimes. I posted the same deal 7 months ago for 139.99, I paid 129.99 and it was rated -37 cold. Now it's 420 hot. Very poor performance tablet. One broke very quickly and I got a replacement. I'm not keeping high hopes on it. My 7 yr doesn't like it even when it has more games. I guess you get what you pay.

Fantastic fast tablet + insert a 64GB Micro SD loaded with movies/cartoon = kids happy for hours!
